My daughter's are not immunized due the fact that I have very reserved opinions about them and my husband is dead set against them. I work full-time as a 2 year old teacher for a day care in RedOak and I have both of my daughter's in the program as well. When it came down to registering them there was a space to sign saying you were aware your children were not immunized and you would agree to take them to their family doctor for regular checkups. The daycare should give you a form for the doctor to sign at each visit. I don't know if all daycares are doing this kind of thing now or just some. You may want to check into this. It appears from reading your post that you are just behind on shots and have every intention of catching up. I believe you can explain this to the daycare and they may give you some sort of time frame to catch up by. I don't think they will not take your child just because they are behind on their shots. Call around and explain your situation and see what happens.
Keep in mind that you will always receive some sort of criticism about this subject. I believe everyone has a right to their own opinions and they are more than likely saying some of the thing's they say because they care about their kid's and other's. I care about my daughter's to no end and I would feel terrible if something bad every happened to them. But at the same time I would feel terrible if I caused this to happen by giving them all these shots. Way too many of them to get in my opinion. But again it is only my opinion.
