3 of my friends are throwing me a baby shower and I wanted to get some fun ideas for a hostess gift for each of them. Has anyone done anything fun that they can share?

I buy each hostess a unique picture frame based on their own tastes, and then take a picture at the shower of me and all the hostesses and then give it to them each in their frame. The only negative is they can't get it the day of the shower but the've all been well received.
How about taking them a few days before or a day before the shower and getting them a manicure or a pedicure? Or if $ is a problem..many salons will do a "polish change" starting at around $6-10. Most women will go get their nails done before an event like this anyway! If that's not fun enough for you how about taking them to lunch one day?
I heard from a friend of mine at a party she went too, that everyone was given couple of seeds, cute little basket with small pot of dirt. There was a little poem, not sure what it said exactly, but something about with the new birth of a baby, may this plant grow, it was a symbolization of new plant and new baby. I thought it was very creative... So maybe just give it to the hostess.

If you go to www.designhergals.com you can make create cute notepads with girls that look like each of them (even down to the eye color). It's really fun, and everyone loves them! I did it for all of the girls in my family last year, and it was a hit. People love to get notepads with characters that look like themselves! :o)
