Help!!! I need to make a brief thank you speech to my child’s kindergarten teacher. I’ve been selected to present her with the class gift and say a few words on behave of the class at their kindergarten graduation. Something brief, maybe 30 seconds to a minute would work. I don’t have a problem doing it but I’m not good at all in putting something together. She’s not the warm fuzzy kind of a kindergarten teacher but definitely taught them a lot in her own very strict way. I will need to present it Wednesday so anyone’s help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance to who can help me put something together by Tuesday night. :/

What can I do next?

Back in August/September, all of us parents entered into the world of elementary school and entrusted our young 5 and 6 year olds to some stranger. Now in June you hand us back children who are so much more. We would like to thank that stranger who has now become a trusted helper in the growth of our children. Thank you for all your work this year, Ms. X

WHat do you have so far?

Basically just thank her for teaching the children so much. OVer the year we have all seen our children learn and mature under you guidance. They can all now do "X" etc. which is such a change from when they started...

Along those lines... and 30 seconds is done before you know it. Also don't sweat the 30 sseconds... Worst thing that could happen is that they don't ask you to do it next year :)

I am a teacher so basically all we want to hear is that we taught the kids alot and helped prepare them for following years. Add some jokes in there too and you're good to go.

When expressing thanks, it's best to be specific: ie, ” we all appreciate your dedication in making sure our children learned their sight words”, or” we appreciate how you always took the time to update us on our childs progress with behavior” our even” thank you for creating an inviting and safe environment in the class for the kids to come to everyday”. Just think about whatever you appreciate in her and be specific.:-) you will do great!!:-)
