Hey! I also need help expanding my 2yr. old son's menu - he is a very picky eater and rarely tries new things... and when he does it is usually just 2 or 3 bites and then he says no and doesn't want anymore. He loves yo baby yogurt, fruit, rice cakes and chicken nuggets/fries... other than that... it is multi-grain cheerios, (thanks goodness those are LOADED w/ vitamins!) If I find some new interesting meals I will share them w/ you!

Remember Earth made food is best. So think cream cheese and clery with raisins for ants on a log, let them put on thier ants. Cream Cheese and Peanut Butter sandwiches (simetines with Jelly on Raisin Bread too is a hit.

My children and I also make homeade muffins and Bananna Bread. I take out a 1/2 cup of the flour from the recipie and replace it with protien powder (that has no taste). You must sift the protien poweder. They take turns choosing what we make. Cranberry muffins, Bananna bread, Bananna Bread with bluberries, rasberries, nuts, soaked granola. I also ad a 1/2 cup of lax per recipie (no need to add any more mike be/c the flax meal is perfectly balanced wet or dry. Our little critters can eat these all day long, in lunhes, in the clar (w/o peanut butter) and still have all the protien they need.

Hope this helps!

My little girl loves hummus, yogurt, eggs, all fruit, mashed potatoes (I just blend in veggies and cheese for nutrients and protein), chicken & cheese quesadillas, avocado, grilled cheese on whole wheat, veggie pizza, fish sticks, chicken tenders w/tater tots. Plus, I would recommend checking out Rachel Ray's Web site (as well as other Internet sites) for great kids menu ideas.

Try coming up with creative names for the food like Spiderman soup or Thomas the Train casserole. I always match them to what ever they are into at that time. It really seems to work well. Especially for superheros, I tell them that Superman really needs their help one day and in order to be big and strong, they need to eat the right kind of foods. We even cut out pictures, and draw pictures of the right kind of foods and use them everyday in crafts and making our own books.

We just tried it for the first time and it's been a big hit. Your kids are old enough to almost make it themselves.
