I shop with a company that has wonderful, all natural , lost cost products. They have a product that many people with psorasis say that it has completly cured, no prescription needed. I have a two year old that has been cured of severe exczema by ridding our home of toxic chemicals and using these products. I would love an opportunity to just share this info. with you. Call or email me asap. S. Brown. ###-###-#### , ____@____.com.

Hi
i also suffer from psoriasis, im currently in what we refer to as remision from it but i live in fear it can return any day, i also have vitiligo (scars) from where the psoriasis was on my legs, one thing that helped me dramaticly is dead sea salt baths and scrubs,i get mine at the flea market over on eua gallie, a 30 min soak in the salts then i clean the area with a salt scrub, not scented of course,

there are times to when it got so bad, itchy and painful that id scratch until i bled and was in so much pain i lived on advil for a long time, but at those times id cover the entire area with vaseline and then cover the area with saran wrap, it always moistened the area and help the scales come off, then if i could avoid itching id heal to some degree,
also sunlight and swimming in a pool odly enough helped me, but sometimes id find the same thing never worked twice but i always have success with the sea salts,

everyones psoriasis is diffrent, if you ever need anyone to talk to or vent to you can email me at ____@____.com

good luck with everything

Hi R.,
Yes I think I had it. I was never diagnosed but I think that is what it was.
I have 2 suggestions. Take the B Complex (the whole Complex) and I would suggest the 50 or 100. Use Sea Breeze. Be sure to use on all you combs & brushes too.

Probably the least expensive thing you can do is get sunlight, depending on what area of your body you have it on that could be difficult! Also, you could use tanning beds. I worked for a dermatologist for 12 years, and we had a lot of psoriasis patients use the tanning bed when they werent coming in for light treatments. Good luck!

Hi,
i have psoriasis as well, my doctor has even given me shots to help it. i know it is hard but dont let it bring you down. I was at my end as well when i found this docotor in port saint lucie, they were able to give me a perscription and some advice on how to handle it. Maybe since you dont have insurance , they can work something out with you, but you need something for it. dr.marder ###-###-####..hope this helps

i dont know if you have tried these suggestions but I hope that it helps some. I pulled it off the internet.

Exposure to sunlight helps many people with psoriasis.

Keeping the skin soft and moist is helpful. Apply heavy moisturizers after bathing.

Do not use irritating cosmetics or soaps.

Avoid scratching or itching that can cause bleeding or excessive irritation.

Soaking in bath water with oil added and using moisturizers may help. Bath soaks with coal tar or other agents that remove scales and reduce the plaque may also help.

Cortisone creams can reduce the itching of mild psoriasis and are available without a prescription.

Some people use an ultraviolet B unit at home under a doctors supervision. A dermatologist may prescribe the unit and instruct the patient on home use, especially if it is difficult for the patient to get to the doctors office for phototherapy treatment.

GOOD LUCK!!!

R.,

Doctors don't really know what causes psoriasis, so there is no cure currently, but go to: http://psoriasis.org/home/ for excellent information on all the various treatments available.

In addition to drugs, creams, acupuncture, ultra-violet light boxes work amazingly well for most patients who see improvement from sunlight. You might want to contact: www.uvbiotek.com Your insurance company might cover the equipment - even if you do not have prescription benefits.

My brother has battled psoriasis for years and had even been doing the new treatment of Embrol injections, which still were not helping much not to mention the terrible side effects. He heard about using acupuncture to control psoriasis from a friend who sweared by it. He just started on a series of treatments for 10 weeks and goes 2X a week. He is on his 3rd week and his skin hasn't looked this good in a long time. He isn't symptom free (they say you have to give it time), but he is better, and is itch free after the treatments. I don't know if your insurance will cover the treatments, but they are less expensive than prescription medicines. Good luck to you.
