How about a bowling party? My daughter has been to a few of those where the entire class has been invited.
My son is turning 8. We are having a hard time coming up with ideas for his party.
We have had it at bounce town, monkey Joes, my gym, McDonald's, sky high.
I looked at Bogies but it doesn't look very good!!! :-!
He said he doesn't want a movie theater this year " no movies out" he said.
I'm open to areas. I'm inviting the whole 2nd grade class.
Thank you for your help!!!! :-)

What about hiring a magician to come to the home? You could reduce the number of kids by just having the boys in the class. Do a piñata and pizza/cake and call it a day!
Glow golf, black light bowling?
BOWLING!!! It is inexpensive, you can bring your own cake/cupcakes, they ALL have special party deals, they put up the bumpers for the kidz there is plenty of room if parents want to stay...I have done this twice and it was a GREAT hit, one 10 yr old boy and a 7 yr old girl!
bowling, ice skating, roller skating, check to see if there is a pizza place with a larger arcade in the area, and since you are inviting the class...the park.
Do you have a go-cart place near you? We have one that has go-carts, mini-golf and bumper boats, and the kids love that for parties. Laser tag is also very popular. Bowling is a fun party. Zoo or children's museum? The YMCA.
Are there any children's museums in the area that offer birthday parties? What about a bowling party? I was going to suggest a skating party, but if you have a large number of kids who haven't skated before that could be a problem. Depending on the time of year you could also consider a putt putt party.
How about a small intimate good old fashioned birthday party at home. Invite his close friends only. You don't need a party of epic proportions to have fun.
Morkes chocolate store is fun. Kids make chocolates and chocolate pizza.
There are pizza places that let the kids make pizzas too.
I'd suggest a children's museum or hands-on theme museum such as Sci-Tech, or a Park District facility. Blackberry Farm in Aurora has a historical theme, and there are others in the area, I think. Also, perhaps the Zoo. Brookfield Zoo is a bit pricey, but Phillips Zoo in Montgomery and Lincoln Park Zoo on the north side of Chicago are free.
We just did a pool party for our kids (turned 6, 8, and 10) - it was a BL:AST! We will do it again next year.
We have also done bounce houses, bowling alley's, pottery painting places, movie theaters, and home parties.
Mini golf (putt putt) is great. Requires less skill and less strength than bowling/skating.
Indoor swim parties are always a hit and usually very reasonably priced. We've had 3 swim parties and it was the easiest thing ever!
The only "entire" class bd party we had was at a farm. It was in California but there might be something near you that would work. The kids got to hold chickens, play in a hay loft, get a tour of the farm, see the horses, etc. Then we had a space to have a picnic. We made sundaes. I think everyone had a great time. The farm was a "learning" farm and schools often came on field trips.
Bowling is great for boys this age. That would probably be my first choice. Otherwise, ice skating, go carts, and mini golf would be fun.
It may be too far for you, but Funway in Batavia has lots of options. Bowling, roller skating. Info on their website.
How about at home, sleepover movie night, or a game truck?bowling?
I've been to a birthday party at that Bogies place is Oswego (except its now called Fore Family Fun Center) and it was fun! They have a couple bounce houses you can, glow in the dark mini golf and also a huge game room. They provide decorations and everything, you just have to bring your own cake. My kids have also been invited to birthday parties at Club 47 which is the gym in Yorkville, the kids could swim or play sports, they also had something else but I can't remember what it was. I'm sure other gyms or a local YMCA would offer the same thing! Good luck!
Limousine a perfect car for any occasions, whether it’s birthday celebration, get together party with friends or very special occasions of your life
I am not sure how many kids are in the class, but we did bowling when my son turned 6 and had a blast. We also did roller skating when he turned 7. That was great because many of the kids hadn't done it before.
We also just had his 9th at a local high school swimming pool. He liked it because his bday is in February and he had always been jealous of kids that had summer birthdays and got to ave pool parties!
I love the idea of the "Gaming Truck" that comes to your house but not
if you're having the whole class.
I think your best bet is bowling or a park with that many kids. Bowling still gets my vote.
