we already have a Benjamin, Isaac and Joshua and are expecting yet another boy ! :)
do you have any suggestions? the names on our list now are Aaron, Ethan, and Cameron.
I would prefer something not in the top 50 names, yet traditional.
i'm due in 5 weeks and i think we have decided upon Jonathan Lucas or Jonathan Miles (Jonathan Andrew as a third option).
it feels great to have basically decided :)

Eli
Elliot
Nathaniel
Patrick
Samuel (Sam)
I LOVE Ethan!
Good luck and best wishes!
Hi momma-
There are so many good posts!
These almost look like biblical names, so what about Samuel, Elijah, Paul, Timothy, Daniel...
For some modern and old school names that aren't too far off the traditional path: Gaven, Daven, Travis, Tristan, Michael, Greg, Jeffrey, Steven or Stephen, Luke or Luc, James, Alexander, Xavier, Brandon, Christopher, Adrian, Austin, Ashton, Carl or Karl, David, Heath, Isaiah, Jensen, Matthew, Noah, Obediah, Peter, Brock, Seth, William, Wesley, Zander or Xander (or short for the previously stated Alexander), Zachary or Zecheriah, Levi, Lucan.
Hope that helps some. Congrats and good luck!

I would look in the Bible. Traditional and Biblical tend to go hand in hand. You could even Google Biblical names and see what pops up. Then compare that list to the top 50 and go from there :)
I love the names you picked out. Our son's name is Matthew, which means gift of God. I have become big on name meanings. Look up the meanings of the names you love and maybe that could sway your decision.
Michael, Gabriel, Daniel, Patrick, Elias. I'm not sure about top 50 list, but those sound traditional to me.
Jason, Scott, Michael, Christopher, Luke and Jack
Do let us know what you decide. :)
how bout Jacob or Jake??? pretty traditinal!
I love the name Noah
Hmmmm...
Walter, Gabriel, Nathaniel, James, Kenneth, Jason, Jacob, Brandon, Christian, David, Vincent, Kent
and Luke
I like your list already. Cameron is becoming a 'gender neutral' name. I have heard of a few girls named Cameron in additon to boys.
Joseph, Sean, Luke, Michael, Robert, James, Matthew, Noah, Charles, William, Andrew, Jeremy . . .
I would suggest Edward but that's taken. .(grumble grumble!!) My son is named Oliver. If I have another boy then he will be Percy. Charley, or Charles.
William, Nathan, Noah, Connor, Marcus, Victor
Caleb, Henry, William
Kevin Alexander was our choice.. there are lots of grown up Kevins. but no little boy kevins.
My rules were.. easy to spell.. easy for the teacher to tell this is a boy,, (not like Logan that can be boy or girl)
My boys are Adam, Kyle and Alex (not Alexander). There are only 1 or 2 other boys in their school that shares names. I think they were all right around the 50 mark on the list but that is where they always stay.
Jonathan, Michael, Randolph, Peter, Thomas, Wilson, William, Richard, James, Arthur, Albert, Mathew, Robert, Philip, David, Harold, Timothy, Charles, Chester, Patrick, Jacob, Paul, George, Edgar
Abel, Zachary, Nathan or Nathaniel, Caleb, Mitchell, Adam, Noah, Eli, Jacob, Joseph. We just had a baby boy so I looked at a ton of names.
To all the people who said Michael... it is in the top 10.
Nathan, Mark, Garrett, Eric, Jarrett, Michael, Russell, Todd, Matthew,
Edward, Jason, Bryan, Joseph, Keith, Kirk, Kurt, Robert, James.
These were all the names on my list...good luck to you and your family!
My boys are Gabriel Scott and Joshua Michael.. our daughter is Alexandra. I am in the same boat trying to come up with another boy name. I am considering Christopher, Zachary, Nicholas, Brandon, and Sebastian.
Good luck whatever you decide.
Luke, Caleb, Noah, Eli, Nicholas, David, Paul
My son is Aaron and I LOVE the name. And it is biblical :-). There are not very many Aaron's. And the Aaron's that I do know are men of integrity.
Joseph
Joel
Matthew
Earl
Anthony
Andrew
James
Michael
Jacob
i love the name OLIVER!
William (Will)
John (Jack)
Samuel (Sam)
Keith
James
Michael
David
I have always liked Brian.
I am partial to it, because of my son, but I love William. You can call him Will or Liam. It is a very strong name.
Good luck!!
I also like Elijah with your other boys' names. It's traditional, and it's not heard very often.
How about Ryan, or Nathaniel. Derrick is also a nice name. I have a Nathaniel, Anthony, and a Ryan :) I love Benjamin and Joshua nice names!
I have a Charles and a Joseph. :)
I have a Timothy, Matthew and Michael. I very rarely see a Timothy. I also like the name Samuel. Good luck and congrats!!
I think Samuel or Elijah would go well with your other boys' names. Congrats!
Aaron is traditional as well as Biblical as are your other sons names.
I found it interesting that the name we chose for my grown up son wasn't on anyone's list. Ronald! He was Ronnie as a little boy, and Ron as a grownup. We figured he could be Ron or Ronald as an adult and the name isn't silly at any age! Liked a lot of the other choices as well!
Thomas, Timothy, Michael, Matthew, Robert, Andrew, .... there are so many....
oops, just saw you did not want any on top 50.... i don't know what is on the list....sorry
How about Elijah? You could call him Eli for short! It is such a great Bible name and goes well with your other three boy names.
James, Alexander, Arron, Abraham, Brody, Cristopher, Carl, Drake, Mark, Marcus, Leonard, Gabriel. Those are some of my favorites-- hope you find the right name! Good luck.
Molly
Nicholas? Jonathan? William? Alexander?
I personally have an Alexander and Benjamin. In my family are other strong, traditional boy names: Matthew, Samuel, Michael, Jeremiah, Jonathan, Carl
Owen? We named our latest Owen Thomas!
I like Matthew James or Matthew Charles
David... my all time favorite traditional boy name.
Samuel
Nathaniel
David
Caleb
Ethan
Mathew
What about Andrew or Gabriel (these might be in the top 50 though but most traditional names are).
My son is Jonathan Brody. Jonathan is a pretty popular name, but I haven't heard it very much for babies or younger kids. I mostly hear it in high schoolers on up
Adam is the name of my first son. Of course, he is 27 this year. . . But that is a good name that cannot be "shortened" or nicknamed.
I have an Aaron Jonathan (so I'm partial to Aaron) and a Jeremy David, all fairly traditional names. One thing I like about their names is that although they are traditional they don't have 5 other kids with the same name in their classes or on their sports teams. Someone mentioned Jake or Jacob, which is a nice name, but it has been very popular. My son's current hockey team has 14 kids on it and three of them are named Jake. Ethan has become very popular too and is probably in the top 25 these days. Cameron will be more unique, although I wonder if its popularity is rising because I've had at least two of them in my church nursery this fall. It is a unisex name (I've had 3 Camerons in the church nursery if you count the girl). Some people love unisex names and others don't. Good luck and congratulations on another baby boy!
Jonah, Jarrod, James, Daniel, Jeremy (Jeremiah) Paul, Peter, Lucas, Luke, Timothy, Matthew, Jonathan, Collin,
Updated

I don't really know if these are considered "traditional" or not but here goes...
Arthur, Ryan, Daniel, Henry, George
:-)
Maximilian (max)
Eliot
Peter
Lukas
Hi S., congratulations on your 4 boys! You are truly the Queen of the House!
My boys are James Joseph and Daniel Patrick
My brother is Michael Francis
My father is Francis William
My nephew is Paul Michael
Love Aaron!
Sean Patrick is my son's name, and although its not high on the top 50, it's traditional.
Also love, Luke, Nathan, Adam, Will, Blake and Eric.
Elijah, Henry, Johnathon, Logan are ones that I can think off the top of my head.
My son's name is Sebastian and I love that name. I really like the name Rogan - but it's not traditional.
Moses, Jacob, Thomas, Zachary
i would pick Jonathan Lucas....good luck
