Hello ladies--Anyone know where I can find some good maturnity cloths and undergarments for my size. I am a 22 and I am having a hard time finding that size. Lanebryant has cloths online that work but they are a little high and currently out of my size! Thank you!

What can I do next?

It's been 5 years since I had to buy maturnity clothes, but I was in the same size range and I usually could find clothes at Sears. Kohl's now has stuff and some Walmarts actually carry a decent selection in with the kids department. Target usually ran a little small for me. Hope this helps.

Hi, I know you already got good advice here, but I just saw your request and I always found my clothes at Sears and usually on sale too. They also had maternity panties and nursing bras for good prices and my little one is 15 months now, so it hasn't been too long.

Good luck with everything.

i was a size 24 during pregnancy. it's tough. motherhood maternity has an outlet store in the katy mall that always seemed to have racks of the plus sized stuff at decent prices.

right about now, they'd be putting their summer stuff on clearance... perfect for year round use in houston.

i had some luck ordering thru the jcpenney's website. their jeans run a size small, but they were my favorite pair -- they didn't look like maternity jeans and they actually FIT my legs instead of just hanging there looking like grandma pants.

good luck, and congrats!

Hi J.!

I loved Motherhood Maternity, Target (Maternity section) and Old Navy for plus size Maternity clothing. They both have good sales and crazy clearance prices (especially MM). Some stores are better than others so you may have to visit a couple to find a really great selection. (I like the Meyerland Plaza location although it is quite a drive.) I kept it simple and bought mostly classic pieces so I could mix and match easily. I was able to wear them through both my pregnancies.

(Also, I found maternity/nursing bras very uncomfortable. I began wearing sports bras, during pregnancy and nursing, which were so much more comfortable and gave good support.)

Good luck and CONGRATS!!!

I don't know where you live but i see a lot of people selling their maternity clothes online at Kingwoodyardsales.com. One of my favorite sites to go on every day! It's people selling their things online. Check it out!

Hi J.-

Motherhood and JCPenney both carry plus size maternity clothes. You might actually find a better selection online than in the stores. You also might want to try eBay. I had great luck buying a maternity swimsuit there since I didn't want to spend a fortune on one.

Good Luck,
K.

Hi there. I don't have too many suggestions, but wanted to know, if Lane Bryant's retail prices are too high (which I agree they are), have you tried looking on Ebay? I bought a lot of my maternity clothes on there and was never disappointed. Also, Old Navy is starting to carry larger sizes, and with their ultra chic styles, I wore a lot of their things in just big sizes and they weren't necessarily maternity, which was a much needed ego boost. LOL
Hope this was at least some help. Good Luck Mama!!!!
