Austin Baby on S. 1st and Mary is a great place for all things cloth diaper. Also, try searching craigslist for "prefolds" and see if anybody's selling some used.
Hi Moms, does anyone know where to buy cloth diapers here in Austin? I want just the plain, old-fashioned white diapers - I already have diaper covers. Thanks.

I'm leary of the ones at Babies R Us and Target. They are typically filled with polyester and therefore less absorbent. You can by some great ones new here:
And used ones here:
Austin Baby Store on the corner of south First and West Mary carries the cotton Chinese prefolds that you are looking for. http://www.austinbabystore.com/
You can also get them at Target, but they, in my opinion, aren't as absorbent.
Definitely go to Austin Baby. They have a wide selection of cloth diapers for sale and they offer a diaper service.
You can find them on craigslist sometimes too.
I make diapers because I love sewing, so if you need anything,
please let me know.
Target carries them although I only used them for burp clothes so I don't know how "good" they are.
Ecowise carries cloth diapers. I have some you can have if you want them. Not in perfect shape...been through 2 kids but they are the nice chinese prefolds and have lots of life left in them. I have about 14 or so of the baby size (approx 9"x12") and 5 or so of the toddler size. Email me if you want them. I live close to 38 1/2 St and Airport Blvd.
Target and Babies R Us both carry cloth diapers. Babies R Us has a better selection of the old fashioned kind.
Try Austin Baby, they are awesome!!
