When I needed boxes, I called Wal-Mart and asked them when they would have some that I could use. Any store like that usually will give their boxes away for free. Hobby Lobby is another good one, if there is one of those near you.
Hello all,
We are in the beginning stages of selling our house (cleaning it up!) and are in need of boxes. If you have any to spare, I'd gladly come pick them up!
Thanks so much!
Awesome idea about the Walmart/large store suggestions -
Thank you so much ladies!!!

these may be too small but i have lots of Girl Scout Cookie boxes that i have broken down. they would be good for small stuff as they are not very big but if you would like them, just email me. ____@____.com
You can go to WalMart and when they are unpacking and stocking the shelves they will break down the boxes and stack them in carts in the middle of aisles where you can take as many as you like. That is where I have gotten most my boxes before.
PS...just DON'T take the banana boxes or your stuff will smell like bananas. I usually look for the Frito Lay boxes because they are just the right size...not too big or small.

Check out craigslist.com and look in the "free" section.
We're in the same boat and have found some there!
GO ON FREECYCLE.COM AND CRAIG'S LIST AND THEY ALWAYS HAVE FREE BOXES.
