Legos, a sand box, t ball set, skates, razor scooter, a tent and some camping supplies for backyard camp outs, there's also a neat line of spy gear, night vision goggles that sort of thing. Hope this helps!

I have a 6 year old little boy, who never ask for anything specific for Christmas. He usually says Santa can bring him whatever he wants too. Which is great to have a kid that is so easy. But then again it's hard because I have no ideas for him this year. He is all boy and enjoys being outside. Any ideas would be a great help. Thanks

My son says the same thing. He says whatever mom. He'll be 6 next month. So...knowing him and his likes/disklikes, I'm leaning towards a nice set of walkie talkies (like the kind people use for camping, not the cheap ones that don't work). Also, a friend mentioned the lights you wear on your head (like miners wear). He would love to play with that lighting up stuff and wearing it on his head. Maybe some outdoorsy stuff too.
Santa is bringing my 6 year old boy a scooter (the Razor one, not the electric kind) and a skateboard. A new bike is always a big hit if he's outgrown the one he has. Last year, we got him an air hockey table we found on clearance (regularly $100, we got it at Academy for $17.50), and that was a huge hit. He also loves board games, Legos, cars (Mattel Outlet has great deals on tons of Hot Wheels stuff), and action figures. He also has the Fisher Price easel which he likes. He keeps his spelling list up there and (oddly enough) actually practices it on there on his own. A video game system is another good idea. We got a Playstation 2 off Craigs List last year and some games off Ebay. My son likes to play, but he has never become an addict like other kids can do. His favorite is the Cars movie racing game. That's something we all enjoy doing together too. Also, any kind of outdoors stuff - baseball tee, baseballs, baseball gloves, basketball goal, soccer goal. My boys love doing this in the backyard. For his birthday, we got him a trampoline with a net, and they love that. We're also getting the boys some fishing stuff for Christmas (my in-laws live at a lake and they like fishing there).
Hi K.,
We bought my 6 year old son a scooter (foot powered, not electric) for his birthday last month and he LOVES it.
He is also asking for the new Shake-n-Go track for Christmas. It looks really cool, but my son is really into cars.

I second the tent idea! We found the suggestion a few weeks back from another thread here on Mamasource, gave our nephew a pup tent and a headlamp flashlight for his birthday, and he loves them!! The spygear stuff is a neat suggestion too --
And I second the Angel Tree idea; yours does seem to be a sweet boy & would prolly really like picking out stuff for someone (and you can watch his eyes as he shops for ideas for Santa gifts too!)
Christmas is going to be a little tight this year but I think that my son (5 1/2) will be getting a scooter (not the electric -$17 at Wally), a game for his GBA, some more Legos or building set of some kind, and some Pokemon cards.
I don't know about your kiddo, but mine LOVES building with any kid of building set (Legos, K'Nex, etc). I can usually find really cool sets that we don't have at Ross for a fraction of what the other stores cost.
My other suggestion would be to take him to the stores and see what he absolutely loves.
Best of Luck! I'm sure what you get will Rock!
Go to Academy and go crazy. Skateboard, ramps, rails, scooters, bike, roller blades. You know, with a kid like that, I would also make sure to get someone from an angel tree and have him go hog wild for another child.
Gift cards are always great. If he's in to video games you could do Gamestop. Or Toys R Us, Barnes&Noble, McDonald's, Walmart or Target
It sounds like you have a very sweet boy! One way you can get ideas of the things he wants is to have him make a list.
My sister-in-law used to encourage my very indecisive nieces to make a Christmas wish list collage. She would give each girl a Sears Wish Book, a JCPenney Wish Book, scissors, a piece of construction paper, and glue. Then my nieces would cut out pictures of the toys, clothes, and other stuff they liked and glue them to the construction paper. My sister-in-law would then "mail" the letter to santa. It was a fun project for the girls to do together and over the years they became very creative, adding words to express their feelings for the season and for our family.
