Hi, my friend owns The Venue. It is a restuarant on Stacy Road. ###-###-#### Maybe she could work something out for you.
Hi everyone,
I know this must've been posted so many times but all I need is a clubhouse room or facility that can accomodate at least 35 people for a child's birthday party. I can bring in all my own supplies for my party. My son has done all the bounce houses, arcades, games, characters, clowns etc... and I am doing a Science party this year. However, I cannot find a place to do it at. Our clubhouse is not only charging us for the room rental but also charging us PER PERSON for bringing in our own food even though it's just the basics like Pizza! Does anyone have contact info for any other places or clubhouses around the Plano, Frisco, and surrounding areas that I can call for additional information on renting a room/venue for a kids birthday party (Community centers, senior centers, clubhouse, party facility it doesn't matter what type of facility as long as I am able to bring in some basic lunch for the kids).
Thank you all so much!
J

Our public library in Carrollton has a room you can rent for very little I hear. Also, the recreation center has space you can rent. I would imagine this would be the case in any city/town.
I don't know if The Colony would be too far away for you, but I know the rec center allows room rentals. Here is the link if you would like to investigate...

We had my daughter's bday party at the Tom Muhlenbeck center in Plano a few weeks ago. They are off of Park & the tollway. It was not expensive at all and the staff was great.
Allen's Joe Farmer Rec Center rents rooms. They have one separate from the rec center that does not have carpet (I think). My husband and I took tango lessons there, I'm pretty sure the floors were not carpet.
I just have to tell you that a Science party is such a cool idea!
This isn't exactly what you asked for, but it came to mind when you said it was a science party. We attended a B-day party at Mathnsium in Frisco. It was actually a science party, lead by the staff, and the kids got to do experiments as well. Their website doesn't reference it, but it might be worth a call. Perhaps it's just something this location does. Afterwards, we had food and cake.

Much of our family lives in another state, so when my son turned two, we decided to make it easier on everyone and take the party to them. We rented a hotel room and they gave us a large conference room for free because we were hotel guests. It was great! The hotel wasn't fancy. I can't recall the name, but It might be worth checking in to. Good Luck :)
My husband and I are professional Clowns in Anna we recently performed at a birthday party at Tailwaggers Country Inn in Van Alstyne. They have a room there that they are starting to rent out. Speak with Suzen Denis, she's the owner ###-###-####. If she asks you how you found out about the room just mention that we performed for her daughter's birthday.
Also, The Oak Point Polo Club is another group we just worked with this weekend. They have a Pavilion on their grounds that they may be able to rent to you. Contact Wendy Devineni ###-###-#### with questions. Wendy was our contact person.
By the way if you need any entertainment for your party, we offer facepainting, balloon sculptures, comedy magic shows, Glitter Art Tattoos (these are great because they last 5-7 days), friendship bracelets, along with fun interaction and games. We've entertained at birthday parties and large events like the Plano Balloon Festival.
Our prices are very reasonable (we have four great kids of our own so we know how expensive things can get)and we do our best to work within a person's budget.
Please feel free to take a look at our website at www.freewebs.com/bubblesandwowza for samples of our work.
Give us a call at ###-###-#### if you have any questions at all.
Hope the info helps.
I hope you have a great party whatever you decide to do.
Hope to hear from you,
K. Schmidt
