Hi Mommies!
My son just turned two, and LOVES playing drums. We bought him a cheapie $25 "starter" set, but it is SOOOO flimsy and was broken when we took it put of the box! He is pretty rough on things, so we upping our budget to $100 and see what we can find. Most Jr. Drum sets I see online aren't getting very good reviews... Anyone have a good recommendation?

go to amazon.com and type in the search word "kids instruments" or "kids drums" They have ALL kinds of musical instruments for kids/toddlers. This is where I find mine for my kids.

Oh my goodness...aren't you brave! LOL, I agree...check out amazon. There isn't a toy that will be 100 % perfect...find what you like and then see if you can find it on ebay or craigslist for a bit cheaper. Or pay a little more from a place that has a return policy that allows you to return it if it breaks early on!
My son has an electronic drum mixer. He loves it.
