Dr. Rad Nair - Legacy Heart Center in Plano
He is AWESOME. My mom, mother-in-law, husband, and myself see him and he is GREAT!
Can anyone recommend a great cardiologist who is not just going to push pills but talk to you about other options too.
Thank You!!!

The Heart Place at Richardson Medical Center. Actually is now Methodist Richardson Regional on Campbell Rd. Any of their docs are great and well respected in the field. In fact fact Dr. Weingarden is nationaly known. I see Dr. Hooten R (hard to pronounce and even harder to spell!) Ask for "Dr. Handsome". The girls will know who you mean!
He is 2nd or 3rd generation American so there is no language barrier.
He will run a bunch of tests to see just what your problem is and go from there. He will re-run some of these on a regular basis--in my case yearly-- to make sure nothing has changed. However, you may need pills to maintain and medication is one of the greatest things that has come along in the treatment of BP, cholestral, and heart disease.
My husband goes to Dr Allo in Denton and really likes him!
Dr Weingarden of The Heart Place ###-###-#### He is not only a Cardiologist but he also practices Holistic medicine. I think he is great and in Richardson.

Dr. David Harper at Presby Dallas is who my Father uses. He is a really good doctor.
Don't know where you live, but Cardiovascular Specialist (based in Lewisville) have several offices in the Lewisville, Flower Mound, Denton, Plano area.
I used to work for them and they have more Drs on staff now, but the ones I would recommend...and in no particular order
Dr David Haynie
Dr Shirley Williams
Dr Mitch Kruger
Dr David May
Tell the Dr that B. Dunn sent you.
I have seen Dr. Woolbert at Legacy Heart Center in Plano and really like him. Good luck! :)

I recommend Dr. John Hollowell at Legacy Heart Center. HE is a great doctor and will discuss options with you. He will prescribe a medication If your conditions warents it, but also will discuss diet and other changes that can be made. I work with doctors and would bring my family to him if needed. hope everything turns out good.
It depends on what is going on with you whether he will push pills, but I had a good experience with John Harper at Presbyterian of Dallas.
