Need a Daycare for Newborn

I am currently looking for a daycare that will watch my newborn around the Clays Mill area. I contacted KinderCare b/c I recieved such good reviews on the place and my heart was set on their center, but they are asking $200/wk for tuition! I am going to be a single mom with NO outside financial support so there is absolutely no way I can afford this. I am pretty disappointed =o ( I was wondering if anyone had any helpful suggestions on daycares in the area??

What can I do next?

I agree, call the cabinet...they only offer so much assistance per day but it may be enough that you can afford the day care you want. Also though, the day care has to be willing to bill the cabinet, which may limit your choices. But definitely give them a call....if anything they can simply help you find a more reasonably priced day car to better fit you needs.

since you are going to be a single parent, you can probably get chilcare assistance from the state. i think if you contact the cabinet for families and children they can tell you what your options are.

Hi,
I currently work at Angel Academy and Daycare. They have a pretty good staff and their rates arent quite as much I think it is $125/wk. Still steep I know but...
