Since last night my baby don't spit and puke at all since we started to feed him in a position that he was sitting and make sure he's burping good. He still crying a lot but maybe because he is not satisfy for the 3 ounces of milk. His rashes getting well too but his face still have a few.
I just wanna say thank y'all for your advices but like what y'all says it's better that we take him to his doctor!

Babies spit up-it is normal. I hope you are really not giving him milk-he should be on an infant formula for one year. A rash may mean an allergy. Never trust the opinion of anyone other than a qualified pediatrician; in other words, take him to a doctor.

Spit up is kind of dribbly and it usually doesn't upset baby. Puking (vomiting) is more violent, much more quantity, usually is accompanied by sobbing/screaming, and will completely exhaust a tiny baby. If it is spit up, it may be totally normal. Is baby gaining weight, wetting and soiling diapers, generally happy? If so, again, probably normal. Tiny babies can get all kinds of rashes as well. Go see the doctor to set your mind at ease. Go to an emergency room if baby gets a fever with the rash, seems listless or limp (sign of dehydration), or has any trouble breathing. With a baby that young, no doc will fault you for bringing them in to get checked out!

Hi A.,

I recommend that you buy a book about baby's first year and read about what you should expect each month so that you understand a little more about your baby.

Spitting up is normal. The baby's doctor can tell you if you are feeding him too much or too often. Make a daily chart of how much and when he drinks. It's good to also write down how many wet and dirty diapers he has. This is good information for your doctor to help assess your baby's health.

I would want the doctor to look his face rash. Sometimes babies are born with what they call baby acne, little white pimples like whiteheads. They don't last long. If your baby has red bumps, the doctor should see them. He or she will tell you what to do.

Congratulations on the baby.

When you say "milk", we don't know if you mean breast milk or baby formula. If you are giving him a bottle, he may be sucking so fast that he gets air in his tummy. All babies get SOME, but you can try to reduce that amount by breaking up the feeding into segments. You can try burping your baby in the middle of a feeding, then finishing the feeding. If you don't fill him up so much with milk and air at the same time, there is less spitting up. But some is normal. Also check the angle at which you are holding him.

A lot of babies get a type of newborn acne - bumps or rashes on the face. This often starts around 3-4 weeks and goes on for a few weeks or a month.

You may need to change formula but try these other things first.

And yes, call your pediatrician.

Your first question.
Welcome to Mampedia. If your question is a true question, I say:

You should call the pediatrician
Make sure it's not an allergy.
Are you breastfeeding or is it formula.
If formula, it could be you need to change the type of formula

Some baby's are just spitters. Also the rash is most likely baby acne; little red dots on their cheeks. If you are concerned call your doc. Congratulations.

I agree with everyone else. What he's eating isn't agreeing with him.

If it's formula, try a more gentle kind.
If you are breastfeeding, try eliminating all dairy from your diet.

So 'puke' is a word they teach in English as a Second Language class now?
Spitting up is common for babies until roughly their first birthday.
'What to Expect the First Year' is a great book and a must read.

Here's my thoughts. He has to drink small amounts of formula. His tummy is about the size of his little fist. If he's drinking more than a few ounces he's puking it back up because he's too full and in pain.

A rash says he's reacting to something. He needs to see the doc right now. He could stop breathing if the reaction causes his airway to swell up. A rash says there is something wrong.

Formula or breast milk is supposed to be the perfect food for the baby until he's a year old. He can drink other formulas though. Some kiddo's can't do any formula that is soy based, milk based, or even an alternative like goat milk or something. It's best to talk to the doc and try a different formula.

Hi A. from China,

Take your baby to the pediatrician. You need a professional doctor to look him over. A rash is indicative of a problem.

Spitting up is common, but vomiting and a face rash indicates a problem.

You should take him to the doctor to determine the cause of the rash.

It sounds like he is reacting to what he is eating. If that is formula, he needs another type. If it is breastmilk, something you're eating may be the cause.
