My daughter 2 years old refused to sit on her high chair that can used it as the toddler seat and any booster. now she has to sit on adult chair. but it is inconvenient for her. I am thinking about to get her a stokke. (which I wanted that long time ago but my husband did not want it). Want to know your opinion about this chair and does your kids love to sit on it or not? Before I decided to spend dollars on this chair.
Thank you everyone for your great advice, My husband and I checked the Kaboost out at the local Baby R Us. it looks nice, but we cannot stand to see how my daughter tried to climb up the chair that added kaboost. so, we both decided to go with Stokke. we took her to Buy buy baby store today to try the Stokke and see how my daughter climbed up. IT WORKS GREAT!. she can do it on her own. We will order the Stokke online with discount. I will keep you post when we receive the chair.

When my youngest went through this, at about the same age, we found a small booster at walmart for like $15 that is great. I think it was made by Graco. It straps into the adult chair and has a safety belt to keep them safe. It is also foldable, like the captains chairs that you can get for adults. The one we bought came with a carrying bag, and we take it everywhere. She is almost 4 now and still loves to sit in her "big girl" chair.
We love our Stokke chairs!! My son was older when he moved into one, but my daughter started refusing a high chair at about 14 months. Once we moved her to a Stokke she has done fine!! They are definately worth your money! You will be able to use it with your daughter for a long time! My son is 4 1/2 and will probably still be able to get another 2 years out of his chair if not more! We love them!!
I bought a booster chair at Just Cabinets. It looks like a little, higher chair but petit for children. It is unstained so you can have her help decorate it.
Mine is still plain but a friend had her kids sticker it than polyeurathaned(sp?). You mentioned a Stokke. My kids wanted chair so this wouldn't have worked for me since it doesn't look like a grown up chair. My 3 y/o and 5 y/o both still sit in it easily. My mom also got one for her house.
We have 3 of the Stokke chairs and couldn't be happier! We've purchased them for each of our children on their first birthdays and love them. They are easy to clean and the kids can get up & on them quite easily. I highly recommend them!!!
You should look into a Cooshie Booster.I have one for my two and four year old and they love them. Very easy to clean and only about fourty dollars.They are sold all online and at babiesrus.
I saw these at target & am debating on whether to get one for my daughter. It raises an adult chair higher. It beats the phone books I sat on as a kid & will make your daughter feel like a big girl. Kaboost Portable Chair Booster they are $29.99.
my kid likes his, and he can climb into it and get down as well. you can find a same type thing through one step ahead which is cheaper than stokke.
I think my daughter was that age when she got out of the highchair. Your daughter wants to be a big girl. I just put two chair cushions on my daughters chair and it was the correct height for her.

I am very familiar with what your are going through. I found the KABOOST works great. It is a booster that goes on the bottom of your chair. It only costs about $30 and very portable. I highly recommend it. good luck

We don't have a stokke, but I just bought my 29 month old son a kaboost. http://www.kaboost.com/ I bought mine at Babies R Us - I know Target also has it on its website. I was so sick of cleaning out the crevices of his booster seat, I decided it was time to do something. He loves it and he loves sitting in a "big boy chair." It works really well with our chair and does seem to make the chair more stable. The best part is it's so portable, so when we go visit friends, we'll bring it with us instead of bringing our booster seat. I think the price is more reasonable than a stokke and she may enjoy being in the same type of chair as the rest of you.
I agree with one of your previous posters. About the seats from wal-mart. They are booster seats that you can sit in a chair and it straps to the chair. It also has a strap for the child. We have two of them. When they started sitting and eating on thier own we transitioned them. They are pretty cheap, too, but are very durable. We have two rowdy boys and they are able to climb in their own chairs. When I clean the chairs (having to take the booster off) they carry them around and sit in them. I highly recommend them. Good luck with what you choose.
If you are planning on having more kids, you may want to get a Svan highchair. It is the only pricey item we bought, but it has been totally worth it. It converts into a chair, but since our daughter is only 16 months, she is still using it as a regular high chair.
