Hi Zohra,
My best advise for you and almost everyone else with a eating problem, sleeping problem and toddler problem in general, read the book "What to expect the first 5 years" written by the same mommies that wrote "What to expect when you expecting". There are too many people on this site that look for problem where there aren't any. I have read both of these books when my kid were small, my daughter is going of 14 and I have a son that is 12 1/2, these books will tell you that most of the stuff that is written about here is normal! Don't force him to eat because it going lead to more battles and possibly eating problems(one extreme or the other) later on in life. (My dad grew up during the depression, so nothing went to waste and I was required to finish everything on my plate, and grew up a bit on the chubby side). So, he will eat when he is hungry, give him a daily vitamin (chewable), sneak in veggies when you can, and tell to try a bite of everything for dinner if he wants desert. Try some foods like Spaggetti O"s, mac and cheese, rice cakes that are flavored(apple, cheese), kids yoggert, even cereal,(I think cereal has gotten a bad wrap) apple sauce, grahm cracker with peanut butter, cheese slices, keep offering it, the expert say kids have to see something 10 times before they will try it. Get a book or go to a web site that might have recipes for kids. Kraft Kitchen and Pillsbury one that send me recipes all the time. If he is gaining weight and the Dr. said nothing to worry then don't. Read the "What to expect" or another book about toddler if you can't find it (I believe its still in print), then you can deal with other problems as they arise. Really, stop worrying, I promise, this is normal.
