I will be moving in the middle of Oct to Mansfield and need lots of help finding good doctors. I need a developmental pediatrician, regular pediatrician, childrens ophthalmologist, and a dentist for children with special needs. I had a very good team of doctors for my son now I have to start all over.
First of all thank you all for such a warm welcoming and great kindness. I have received quite a bit of information on local doctors and churches. We are one month away from the big move with lots of things to do but thanks to all of you I feel at ease with finding the right doc for my boys and church. And for the ones who invited me to connect up once I arrive, look for an email from me in Oct. I cant wait to meet such kind southern women.
There is a great autism support group in Mansfield called ASAP. You can call Margie Bowman at ###-###-####. Dr. Joki is a good pediatrician in Mansfield. There may be others, but the only developmental pediatricians that I know of, in the area, are at the Child Study Center in Ft. Worth. They also have special needs dentists there.

Welcome to Mansfield ! I use a great pediatrician - Dr. Robert Mann. He is with the Cook Children's Hospital but his office is in Mansfield. Wonderful doctor and his staff is great. Cook Children's Hospital is also awsome. It's a pediatric hospital in Ft. Worth. He is a regular pediatrician but could probably recommend the other pediatrician for you. His number is ###-###-####. He also sees quite a few kids with different types of disabilities. His office partner - Dr. Daniels - is also pretty good.
We use Dr. Deborah Sullivan - ###-###-#### - as a pediatric dentist. Don't know if that would help you or not but you may be able to call her and get a recommendation for a special needs dentist if you need that. She and her office staff are really great.
There are several really great churches in the area. I would love to invite you to our church - South Oaks Baptist. We are on Highway 287 between Mansfield and Arlington. It's only 10 minutes or so to get there. We have kids from Arlington, Mansfield, and other areas there. We don't have a special needs children's ministry but we have had several children throughout the years (and even now) with different disabilities. Our teachers are great with them and the pastor is wonderful. We would love to have you visit.

Welcome to Mansfield TX! I actually grew up in Sterling Pa. Moved to Mansfield about a year and 1/2 ago. I great Ped is Mark Wayne his # ###-###-####, He is off of one main drag in mansfield Debbie Ln. Michael Lloyd off of green oaks in Arlington ###-###-#### is a great Dentist for Children. I have a 3 1/2 year old who gives me a VERY hard time brushing her teeth and He was able to take x=ray and pollish her teeth, it floored me that he was able to do it!

I really can't help you with the doctor information, but I can tell you that our church does have an excellent children's ministry that does include a special needs ministry. Our church is First United Methodist Church of Mansfield. We love the ministries, bible studies and mostly the pastors. Our Senior Pastor is Mike Ramsdell.
