Awww my poor Beenee :-(
IDK what to tell you, all I can say is STAY AWAY FROM RAMEN and avoid stinky diapers if it all possible. One more thing... grape juice is the WORST coming back up ((sick!))
I love you!!! See you soon?
I'm 7 weeks pregnant with our 2nd child, I haven't had terrible bats of morning sickness as I did with my Son. But I'm hoping to find some easy cures besides the whole "saltene cracker" approach. So hopefully I can try nipping it, before it starts to get really bad. I've heard of ginger helping, has anyone tried it? and in what form?
So far, I've been drinking TONS of gingerale, its hard for me to try the ginger stuff, right now as its still hard to eat much of anything... I started taking the vitamin B6 a few days ago and its helping out, its back and forth - some good days and some bad, but thats with anything... Thanks so much for all of your help, I'm still going to be trying different things...

I also had awful "morning" sickness that lasted all day. I loved my Ginger lozengers and chewies. I cannot remember the brand but I found it at an Earth Fare, so Whole Foods will most likely have it. It is lower in sugar than those awful Preggie Pops that have High Fructose Corn Syrup. Peppermint tea was also great, adding Ginger extract juice to it only helped more. Avoiding Vinegar will also help. If you are craving sugar, I found Mint flavored Paul Newman O's were a great way to conquer my sugar crave and help nausea. Eating a whole Orange (not juice) before bed also helps.Good luck, I feel ya.
Hi B. I was very sick with my second child also and I used the unattractive motion sickness bracelets when I started to feel queasy I would put them on and they worked pretty quickly. I hope this helps good luck! A. busymomsworkathome.com
Hi B.,
I wish I knew what to tell you but I don't. Ironically, I have an 18 month old son and am 8 weeks pregnant! I just had to write since you seem to be so much in the same boat.
I'm struggling with a decision right now to go back to work. I have an offer for the job of a lifetime and the timing couldn't be any worse!
Good luck to you.

Hi, I had really bad morning sickness for three months my second pregnancy. The only things that got me through, were ginger chews, all natural ginger ale from Whole Foods store, sour apple bubble gum, eating as soon as I was hungry not waiting till I got nauseus from not eating, Sea Bands from a pharmacy that uses accupressure on your wrists, and lastly what helped most was vitamin B-6 twice a day. Whole foods has a supplement that dissolves under your tongue as I gagged trying to swallow pills so having a vitamin that dissolved was great. Also I have a 18mth old daughter and I am 7 mths along in my second pregnancy, being a stay at home mom as well. My daughter actually helped as well, I knew I had to take care of her so I couldn't dwell on being sick. Hope this helps.
Wow! We have alot in common. My daughter just turned two in Dec. and I'm 7 weeks pregnant with baby number 2. Also battling morning sickness as well. One of my friends told me to eat pepermint candy. You know the red and white round ones. She says to keep a handful by your bed for when you first get up in the morning. My problems is I don't experience morning sickness until I get work. I hope this helps.
Welcome to the area!! I have tons of family in Jax. and I use to live there too!! Ginger didn't work for a friend of mine .. I never tried it!! But her dr. gave her something for the morning sickness not the phenergan that puts everybody to sleep but I think it was called zofram.. Hope this help!!
Hi!! I just had my baby boy, he's 3 weeks. I tried two wrists bands that have like a metal button and that press a certain spot on your wrists, it's like acupressure, my doctor told me about it, you have to look for it, sometimes kroger has it, or publix, it's natural, not costs a lot, around 6 dollars, it doesn't hurt, it worked for me, I hope you can try it and you feel better.
Good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was miserable with both pregnancies with morning sickness. Here are the things that worked the best.
1. cut lemons - I sliced lemons and kept them in a baggie. I sniffed the bag throughout the day.
2. eating - I kept a peanut butter sandwich by my bed for my 4 am nausea. I also ate all day. It helped!
3. preggie pops - you can order them on-line. They're sour and settled my tummy.
4. GINGER!!!!! - this helped the most. I bought Ginger-peach tea bags and drank that. I bought fresh ginger slices and would nibble on that (very effective). I ordered Ginger Chews on-line from (I think this is the right name) The Ginger People. I really liked that. You can also buy candied ginger from health food stores. And, my favorite, ginger beer. It's a very potent soda that is highly carbonated.
I hope this helps. I suffered for 4 months on constant nausea with baby #1 and 5 months with baby #2. I kept telling my husband that I should be able to ignore it and use my mind to control it but I couldn't. One good thing is that it means there's plenty of hormones in your body keeping your baby healthy. Good luck!
I am also pregnant and due spet '07. I had all day sickness with all my kids. I have use ginger snaps. or prego pop. the prego pop have ginger in them and taste very good and come in 7 diffenrt favlor. I just got some from mother hood.
Chicken broth
Tums-for the fiz in your stomach
Saltine crackers
Water
That was my diet since I threw up everything I ate; that is what always made me feel better.
I've tried gingeraile (the drink) and I've also tried Preggo pops...they actually work but I found that personally I didnt like most of the flavors but they still worked. My doctor also told me to eat several small meals a day, stay away from salt AMAP (as much as possible) especially canned veggies or soups which contain a high amount of salt. And to eat something light right before I lay down, she said it helps with the morning sickness that comes early morning. It also helps to have the gingeraile and something light to snack on near ur bed so that u can sip and nibble when getting up during those trips to the bathroom at night.Unforantely with my second my morning sickness lasted the entire pregnancy AND especially when I brushed my teeth! My doctor also prescribed me some nasuea pills so if u get a severe case ask ur doctor about it. I really didnt take mine since I was also haveing to take ambien due to my insomnia the last few months of my pregnancy.
I was afraid to take any kind of medicine they could perscribe. I'm sure it is safe, but I'm just paraniod. (-: So I used Oral-B Brush Ups during the day to keep my mouth tasting fresh. That seemed to really help (along with eating small meals throught the day). Also popcicles helped me lots. I especially liked the lime ones make with real fruit, but for some reason the cold made me feel better no matter what the flavor. Hope this helps - I know that kind of sickness is horrible!
I am also a SAHM of a 21 month old little boy and we are expecting our second child in late sept. I wish I had a great solution to the morning sickness issue. If someone gives you great advice I would love to hear about it! We live in Woodstock.
