Mom's Group in Fall River? or Nearby Dartmouth?

Another great place to meet other Moms besides the Zoo (which is such a fun place) is at the local playgrounds. Lots of Fall River Moms come down to Westport Main Road Playground (it's fenced in) to play until naptime! Also, there is a playgroup on Friday mornings at the Dartmouth YMCA (from 10-12). The cost is $3 per child or just $5 per family (at least it used to be -- I've been out of the loop!). The YMCA is in "deep" Dartmouth on the way to Padanaram Village, but the space is great (it's right next to Dartmouth Early Learning Center -- preschool/private). I hope this helps you out.

hello, I take my kids 1, 3, and almost 5 to the toe jam puppet band on mondays at buttonwood park. It is great and afterward we can walk the zoo. If you are interested you and welcome to meet up w/ us.

I am new to this site, and just read over your request. I am a stay at home mother of a baby boy (almost 6 months old), and am interested in playgroups and/or get togethers. I have limited resources, and although I love my husband and son dearly, I need to get out of the house more, and would like to do so in a way to still spend time with my son. I am from Fall River & I know of a "New Mommies" (mostly babies) Playgroup that meets by the Vanity Fair outlets in Dartmouth (meets every Wednesday) My son is 6 months old and I havent been yet but it is organized by a wonderful lady who runs childbirth and other baby care classes out of Charleton Hospital (Fall River) her name is Gina and she is so nice ###-###-#### or ###-###-####.
