Hello all, my son is turning the big 5 at the end of this month and I need help on where to have his 5th birthday party @. I want it to be some place unique and different. Your suggestions will be greatly appreciated!
Pump It Up, Jungle Java, or a local gymnastics place. The YMCA would be fun too - swimming, gym, etc.
How about ice skating or bowling? Or a movie-themed party at a local theater? Henry Ford Museum or The Children's Hands On Museum in Ann Arbor?
Do you have a children's museum where you live? We have a few here (CA) and they do parties. Perfect for the age because everything is hands on and encourages exploring. Gymnastics places are great fun as well and typically offer bday party packages.
My daughter had her 6th birthday party at a local gymnastics place. All the kids LOVED it, even the boys. They got to do an obstacle course, jump into a huge foam pit, swing on the bars, etc. It'd be perfect for this time of year since they're cooped up inside so much!
pump it up is AWESOME. We attended a party at a pump it up for the son of a friend of my bf. My daughter was 9 at the time and even SHE loved it (and adults can climb and jump too). They have a couple different rooms and the rotate the kids through after a certain period of time.
They do pizza and cupcakes.
The mom didn't do ANYTHING except make the reservation, send out the invites and pay. totally easy.
