I had a tubal ligation 3.5 years ago. I have had regular periods ever since. Now I have missed my period in January and February and still nothing so far in March. I have taken a pregnancy test which was negative. I have felt fluttering in my lower abdomen and mild cramping, like when I'm going to start my period. I don't have insurance so I'm unable to go to the doctor. I'm wanting to know if this has happened to anyone else and if so what was the cause of this.
My Ob/GYN always used to say that one missed period is a fluke not to be worried about, especially if a PG test is negative. But if you miss two in a row you should go in. It could be unrelated to pregnancy or issues with your tubal...

Anything is possible. Does Planned Parenthood do pregnancy tests or have any kind of clinic you can go too? You don't say how old you are so I am guessing that you aren't going into menopause. Some hospitals have a free health care program, you could look into that......If you don't do anything in the next two weeks or so, I think you should get checked out. Is it possible that you could be starting menopause? Is there a free or inexpensive clinic in your area that you could go to? Many walk-ins are not too expensive.
You may also want to take another pregnancy test, just to be sure.
i had a tubal also 3.5 yrs ago. i haven't missed my pd but i have crazy movements in my stomach. i can actually see it move sometimes. i also feel sick to my stomach on occasion. the movement was so bad last month tht i bought a pregnancy test and it was negative also. i'm assuming it's just gas. there is this thing with tubals that you can actually go thru menopause early bc of the way the tubal is done. i found a ton of sites when i was researching it b4 i had mine done. the sites said you can get facial hair, body hair, stop having your period, etc. if you don't have any insurance and you think you are preg than maybe the health dept in your area can do preg test for free. there are also clinics tht will do it.
