I have been going through some crazy menopause issues that happened fairly quickly. Everything from acne, waking up several times at night, complete exhaustion, anxiety, depression, a period that lasted almost a month, no hot flashes though. Have since seen a doc and he has given me a suggestion of a procedure called cryoablation (freezing of the uterus) and I also have a friend that suggested Sottopelle. No hormone replacement for me. If any of you Mom's have had these procedures and have details, outcomes, suggestions...please share.

What can I do next?

I have had the procedure done, and for the most part it cut my periods in 1/2, it usually takes it almost completely away, I am just one of those "lucky" people who had extremely heavy periods and to me 1/2 of my new period is better than my old "regular" period. I am still experiencing the same issues as you are except I do get the hot flashes as well. I am going to have my physical done to check my hormones and everything else, but I had a client of mine mention peri-menopause. I am also going to try Dr. Ashley who was the first response you received on this issue. I am only 40, so I am puzzled as well. Take care!

I had a severe hormone imbalance that was caused from a tubal ligation. It made my cycles unbearable, depression and more. I reversed my tubal and have been fine since. I'm always, always uneasy about doing anything, anything that might effect hormones. Even birth control pills. I'd suggest seeing a naturalpath or Chiropractor that does more than just adjustments. But that's my two cents. I pray that you find something that helps. Good luck!! I see a good Chiro that does alternative methods also. HealingChiroHands.com He's at McDowell and Litchfield just in case you're wanting information. He helped me tremendously!!!! and in a short amount of time too. Good luck to you!

Hi C.,

I do not have personal experience with the procedure but I have heard posititve and negative results. I would like to introduce Naturopathic to you, if you have not already heard about it or had an opportunity to see a naturopathic physician. I am a Chiropractic Physician that focuses on women's health, prenatal, and children. Because of this focus I share many of my women with a local naturopath who has done amazing and miraculous work with hormonal issues in my patients. The outcomes in all of them were positive and more than what we expected. The specific Naturopath that I'm talking about is Dr. Tina Marcantel in Gilbert. Depending where you are, there are other great doctors. I just wanted to let you know that there are other alternatives that are extremely positive. Great luck and blessings.

Have an Amazing Day!
