I don't know about being oil free but I use L'Oreal True Match concealer. It hides my brown spots and blends well. It costs about 7-8 $ at Walmart.
I'm looking for an inexpensive brand that will give me full coverage. I have past acne marks and brown spots, I would like to conceal. It needs to be oil free. Any suggestions?

My suggestion is not cheap to buy, but it's a great value. It lasts a REALLY long time. It cot me $20 at Ulta, but I've had it for 6 months now. It takes a tiny amount to cover. It's a concealer by Laura Gellar, and it gives great full coverage. At the same time, it's not cakey or heavy feeling. It matches my skin tone well, which is hard to find...I'm very fair. http://www.laurageller.com/store/concealers/products/real...
Also, I wanted to suggest this girl to you. She is a model and has bad acne. She gives tutorials on how to get good, natural looking coverage. I learned a lot about applying make-up from her. The best part, is she does tons of product reviews and shows you how to use the products. You can search on her youtube channel for concealer reviews and how to get natural looking full coverage. Good Luck!!

Have you tried Benefit's "Some Kind of Gorgeous"? I love this stuff, it blends into your skin, covers without being heavy and comes in 3 tones:

It comes in a small $9 compact that lasts a long time, or a bigger one for $30 :-/
For really inexpensive that works try e.l.f.'s Studio Concealer underneath, it's oil-free, it comes in 4 shades, costs $3, and is available @ Target or online at:

and
e.l.f. Studio Flawless Finish Foundation, also oil-free, $6:

(e.l.f. is a fantastic cosmetic line started by Scott-Vincent Borba of BORBA Cosmetics, so this stuff is good, and their items start at just $1.)
I would go to Ulta and have them use some of the products on you. When it comes to foundation that is where you spend the money. I LOVE and use Lush's colour supplements, they cover my rosecea well but I do not have acne scarring.
You may want to watch her You Tube videos to see what she has to say!

I'll NEVER wear liquid foundation now that I wear Bare Minerals.
I have LOTS of things to cover and they have colors that actually MATCH my skin!
THE BEST thing about Bare Minerals is as you wear it it looks BETTER thru the day. I never have had to reapply my make-up once I switched.
clinique even better. it is not super cheap but it lasts for a while so it makes it worth it. hit up several counters for a few samples to get you going.
E.L.F. Brand is my fav. I love mineral makeups from them!
Arbonne's products are Oil Free they are made WITH OUT mineral oil and are botanically based. We have products especially for acne prone skin and some that will help with those acne marks and brown spots as well. I am PMing you my contact info.
L'Oreal Infallible for liquid foundation. Not sure if it's oil free, but I struggle with acne and it does not aggravate it. L'Oreal Bare Naturale (now True Match Naturale) for mineral based foundation. Also Bare Minerals, but they are more expensive and I found a better color match with the L'Oreal. (Also Revlon ColorStay for liquid - used to use that just fine, but found a better color match with L'Oreal.) All of these give great coverage, do not aggravate my skin, and stay on my face. Everything else slides off or disappears in an hour. I get comments on how great my skin looks when I would be mortified if they saw me without makeup. The mineral coverage is a more natural look. With any of them, start off light and build up to what you need. Don't start off heavy or it will look like a mask. Good luck!
I used to wear the $10 makeup from the large discount stores. I had a heck of a time getting the right shade, often looked like I was wearing a mask, and the make-up rubbed off on clothes if I changed clothes mid-day. And especially if it was warm and humid that day. You're from SA---you know what I mean. ; )
A couple yrs ago I switched to Clinique. I pay $22 a tube at Dillards. It lasts for months!!! I get the right color b/c someone helps me with it and it stays on all day. Also, I have never had a Clinique rep pressure me into buying anything else at the counter.
You get what you pay for...
I do not use full coverage makeup but I do use all Clinique products. They seem to be pricey but if you look at it, they are not that bad because they last a long time.
I use the moisturizers, day and night and laser focus all what are $40-$50 per container. I've been using the same containers since mid summer.
The makeups run around $25-$35 and they too last a long time.
A good Clinique consultant can guide you to the best choice, give you samples to try and see what you like. All products are guaranteed or your money back!
I LOVE the new mineral make-up. It soaks up oil and actually makes my skin better when I use it often (which I don't always). I know there are several brands, so you can pick by price.
I've used Nuetrogena oil free skin clearing concealers before for small spots that I want to conceal, I've liked it ok.
Clinique is a great product to try, more expensive but it'll last longer and you'll be happier...plus a good consultant at the make-up counter can give you just the right shade. I always like to buy when they're offering their free gifts, you end up with some nice make-up samples and moisturizer.
Clinique or Mary Kay are some of the better ones out there but their price is mid-range; however, products last a longer time than most. Ulta is a store that I recently found in my surrounding area that has many different cosmetic brands and you don't have to go to Macys, Dillards or Nordstroms etc. I know they have consultants there but I don't know what their return policy is on make up. Keep in mind that with Mary Kay or Clinique, they have 100% guarantee so if you don't like something you can return it and get money back or get something else from their product line that is a similar price.
