red grapes cut into 1/4 slices. Assorted blocks of cheese sliced thin enough for her to still eat with her fingers. Frosted mini wheats for fiber and protein. goldfish crackers. blueberries. hamberger meat finly chopped and cooked through. grilled chicken breast chopped small enough to eat with tiny fingers. bananas. zweiback toast. applesauce. steamed apples peeled amd gutted. bits of corn and green beans. broccoli florets. BLACK BEANS-my sons favorite!! pineapple, not too much though! table time meals from beach nut or gerber--not too popular with myson though. granola snacks, some varieties come individually packaged! grilled chease sandwiches. For drinks try V-8-regular, splash or fusion-just watch the sodium intake that day with the rest of her diet! juicy-juice mixed with water, better served with the saltier foods. My thoughts off hand, good luck--C.

well, the baby food people have great cut up foods in the jars, but that can be expensive. so do it yourself!
alot of times what you made for dinner the night before can be chopped up and lightly heated. chicken, green beans, peas, carrots, noodles, macncheese, etc. also the chunky noodle soups are great, just strain out the juice and pack the chunky veggies, noodles and chicken int a seal tight bowl, they can heat for about 20sec.
good luck

My son just turned 11 months old. He has been only table food for more than a month. I feed him leftovers from our dinner the night before. Of course I stay away from spicy foods. I keep easy mac for occassions when I don't have anything for him to eat and I mix in frozen veggies for health. Just cut everything up about "pea" sized and she'll do fine. I offer a large variety. Good luck! :)

Well, lets see:
grapes cut in half
grape tomatos cut in half
raisins cut as well (otherwise they will rehydrate in her tummy and cause a tummy ache!)
Yougurt
Left over spagetti cut up (messy but fun!)
quiche (My daughter loves quiche!)
mashed potatos
cerial (not the sugar stuff)

hope that helps

Hi B.!

My son is 13 months and he loves fresh deli cold cuts! (ham, turkey, and even cheese!) (BTW though, deli meats are only good for about 3 days....by the 4th day, the bacteria is all over!) I just prefer to give him deli meats b/c they lack many of the preservatives required to get the packaged meat to stay 'fresh' for so long. I cut up cooked green beans (broccoli, carrots, etc!) for him, peaches...the ones in the glass jar, I cut those up.... it's messy, but he LOVES eating them. Cantaloupe is another favorite, and watermelon, too! (I just grab one of those combo fresh fruit bowls from Publix!) Also, Gerber makes freeze dried banana/pineapple, banana/mango, apple, etc pieces that my son gobbles up! (MUCH LESS messly than the naturally hydrated fruit!) They have little tiny hot dog looking things, made by Gerber, although, my son just likes the feeling of smooshing them in his hands. (I have heard that regular hot dogs pose a choking hazard, these are different, they disintegrate quickly.) He also likes different varieties of rice! He does eventually rub it on his head! (Too cute!) But, he eats it! Also, freeze dried corn....Gerber, or Wal-mart has the Parent's Choice brand for less. They are really good, I find myself munching them, too! Good luck!

Have a lovely day!

When my son was tha ae, some of his favorite things to eat were fruit cups and cheese clices. He also liked lunch meat and peanut butter sandwiches. Those are some choices that can easily go in a "lunch box"
