That sounds like back labor to me. Does it come and go or just stay? It might not be go to the hospital labor, but it could be your body getting ready. Call your doc to double check with them, its better safe than sorry. I have a feeling they might tell you to come in becuase usually back labor means you are going to want an epidural. I had active back labor for 14 hours, I know how bad it hurts and I'm sorry. In the meantime can your husband push against it for you? counter pressure is the BEST. Call now!

Congrats on your new baby coming soon :)

You need to get to the doctor and make sure you don't have a UTI. OR that you aren't in labor. Either is a possibility.

Hope you're better quickly!

Make sure you are staying well hydrated and call your ob's office to let them know what's going on. It's always best to make them aware of any issues you are having and will give you peace of mind to know what you should or shouldn't be concerned about.

If it's coming in waves at regular intervals, it's labor. But it's more likely that it's the pressure of the baby on the spine. You could try chiropractor or massage but get someone who specializes in pregnancy. There is also a new food product you can take that is clinically proven safe and great for inflammation as well as cholesterol reduction.

as you come to the end of your PG your back will start to hurt a bit. all the extra baby weight, the weight you put on during your PG is starting to take a toll on your back. take little breaks during the day if you can. put your feet up. lay on a heating pad on your back.. those always worked for me. i have three kids. the first two were over 8lbs and the third one was almost 10lbs at birth! I was dying! back pain was always the culprit for me... good thing it didnt last long! good luck and congrats!

I had to go to the chiropractor during both of my pregnancy's. There is extra weight on my spin than it's used to. I have chronic lower back pain and I have to lay on ice packs to help it feel better. You might try that as well.

After you make sure you're not in labor, check out a chiropractor! You could be experiencing pregnancy induced sciatica, which is very common because of the growing baby inside. It can be extremely painful and cause difficulty sleeping. There are many chiropractic adjustments that can help with it.
