Lotion? - San Jose,CA

Arbonne RE9 skin care line (Arbonne.com). I used to sell it along time and go and then I got sick of selling stuff. I still used all the skin care and lotions. I have never used a better lotion. The daycream has sunscreen in it and the lotion comes with a Serum that is supposed to help remove fine lines/fade stretch marks on the body. The face stuff does prevent wrinkles and the set comes with an eye cream and a face lift cream. I have been using it for about 3+ years and haven't been to a dermatologist since.

I recommend Oil of Olay (original pick bottle), lotion, night cream and soap. I have used it for years and many people think I am my son's sister when we first meet. I just turned 60 and he is 40! We both have very sensative skin and I wear very little make-up.

I love the Burt's Bees line. Their daytime carrot lotion does not have spf in it, though. So I use that followed by their sunscreen. I have been using it for years and people never guess how old I really am... They often guess I am 8 - 10 years younger than I really am. (Part of that may be genetics, but I am convinced that the Burt's Bees products are partially responsible for it too!)

lotions are pretty drying in general i have found..ironic. anyway, jojoba oil (pronounced ha-ho-ba) has been the best i have ever found. leaves my skin soft and not dry at all, ALL DAY. safe for babe too. BTW, it is great for preventing wrinkles and doesn't clog pores.

Skin damage and wrinkles can be avoided by using sunscreen with an SPF of at least 15 that blocks UVA and UVB rays. Even if you stay indoors a lot, you still need to use sunblock because... believe it or not, computer screens and fluorescent lighting both give off UVA rays (which do not burn your skin, but do cause damage in the form of wrinkles!).

I use Oil of Olay. I used to work in the Sephora corporate office so I've tried literally every high end product out there, and I keep coming back to Oil of Olay. It works great and is not expensive. Sunscreen is perfectly safe for you to use while breastfeeding.

Also, free radicals can cause skin damage as well (air pollution, etc). It's a great idea to include plenty of vitamins A, C, and E in your diet to combat free radicals, and you can also look for skincare products with these vitamins as well.

Your best bet is to actually treat from the inside out. Drink at least 1/2 your body weight in ounces. If you smoke, stop. If you drink alcohol, stop. No white, refined foods or things high in sodium which will make you retain water and stretch the skin. Yes, you need to wear lotions with SPF but make sure that they don't have mineral oil or petrolatum in them. Both are dangerous to the body and skin.

Mother's Friend has a lotion line but the only place I could find it at was Drug Barn. They closed the one on the peninsula, and I do not know if they have anymore. Try Longs or Walgreens and see if they carry it now or you can look on line. They use to just have a cream for nursing mothers so that their nipples would not crack but they expanded into a lotion and an oil. Hopefully you can find some. It was great during both of my pregnancies. I put it on my stomache and afterwards, kept using it on my dry areas. I am almost out myself, so will need to do some searching. I will let you know if I find anything.

Certainly a good start would be anything with SPF in it...

My friend has suffered from cancer and because of all of the treatments she has received, the sun has done huge damage to her skin. Her dermatologist and doctors have recommended the RE9 line from Arbonne. She has really improved.

I also use this product and I think I look younger!
