I am a mom from Billerica with a 2.5 year old little boy and almost 6 mo little girl. As of last week I am now staying home with my little ones full time. I am looking to connect with other local area Mom's for play group/Mom's group.

Have you considered joining a group/club specifically for moms? Ususally these have existing playgroups you could hook up with, in addition to offering children's activities/outings and activities just for the moms. Consider Mothers & More - www.mothersandmore.org. Their Merrimack Valley chapter has members in Billerica, Wilmington, Tewksbury & Andover.

I wanted to let you know about the chelmsford community playroom. It is an indoor playgroup which meets on mon and thurs 9:30-11:30. There is an indoor gym with tunnels and balls, trucks etc, a smaller room with kitchen toys, dolls, books. At each session we do a craft and snack as well. It is a drop in basis, so you join for the session for $15 then pay $1 per child each time you come. Children under 1 year old are free. It is a co-op, so members are expected to sign up for opening, closing snack and craft duties 3 times each session. Your first visit is free if you are interested in checking it out. I know there are a few others from billerica who have joined.

There is a moms club called www.chelmsfordmothersclub.org. They organize events, outings, moms nights out, playgroups, etc in the Chelmsford and nearby areas (Billerica being one of them!). They're a great bunch of moms!

I am a SAHM of a 2.5 boy and a 1.5 girl and a 15 year old girl.. I live in Tewksbury and would LOVE to get something together.. I left my job back when I was 6 months pregnant with my daughter. I miss the day to day interaction with adults.. I feel like my brain has turned to mush!!! LOL..

Storytime at the Billerica library is great to meet other mothers. The Mom's and Tot's group is also good, have you checked into them?
