Looking to Meet Other Single Moms of Infants

I know its hard to be a new and single mom. I had a perfect little boy on my own almost 5 years ago. It was tough. I too was alone, but to look at that perfect little baby makes it very much worth it. It can be over welming sometimes and if you ever need a friend you feel free to write. One day that perfect baby will be graduating high school and you'll look back and think....Wow, I did that. It is frustrating and rewarding at the same time. I admire your strength and courage to raise that baby on your own.

Congratulations! I would suggest that you join the Northside Parents Network (NPN). They have all sorts of support groups including single moms, working moms, etc. I joined the New Moms Group and we do have lots of fun.

Congrats on your little one. I am also a single mom. I am currently living with my boyfriend but he has three kids from a previous marriage so I soend a lot of time running around on the weekends just me and my little boy - who is 6 mos - when he has them all at the house. Would love to meet someone to start hanging out with on those occassions as all my friends are single-no kids or married and spend the weekends with their hubbies. I completely understand what you are going through. It's difficult but a rewarding experience. I'm 31 and a single mom of a great 2 yr old boy.
