Hello All,
I am looking to join or start a Moms Club in the Feasterville/Trevose area. I have been trying to find activities for my now 1 year old, and it is so hard to find the right fit! IT IS SO FRUSTRATING! There are no moms groups in my area on Meetup.com or MomsGroup.com. I have a wonderful little girl who just LOVES being around other children, and she could use some playmates since she is an only child. All of my friends are at different stages in their lives, and I need some mama friends too! I am looking to join a local group, or would be happy to be the organizer of one.
If there is a local club I would be thrilled to hear about it, or if anyone is interested in starting a club, please feel free to contact me!

Next week we are moving to Newtown and we have a 19 month old who does not go to daycare so we are always looking for activities to do with her. We are also looking for a local Newtown Mothers day out. www.livegreeneasy.com

I belong to a MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) group in Yardley at Bible Fellowship Church. I know there's also a group that meets at Langhorne Presbyterian. You can check out their site at www.mops.org to see if there may be a group closer to you. It's a wonderful group that runs from September to May. There is a registration fee (I think ours is $50), but it is totally worth it. We meet twice a month and then have a few get togethers during the summer, too. Some of the women in my group belong to other Mom groups, but I don't have any info on those.

I know of a few MOMS clubs in the area. One is in Langhorne and the other is in Bensalem ###-###-####). And there is one is Northeast Philly ###-###-####) that might work for you. I know they are not quite local but they are close. If you decide not to go with one of these and you start your own I can try to help you find moms interested in joining. Feel free to send me a personal message.

You may also be interested in something like Baby Boot Camp. It's a prenatal/postpartum fitness program that allows moms to bring their babies with them to class. There are classes all over the Philadelphia area and the world. Particularly in your area is Sports Zone (Southampton) or Party Magic (Warminster). Both are locations where the kids are able to play while you workout. The class itself is not for the kids but it is a great way for you to meet other moms, get back into shape and for your baby to meet others and socialize as well. There are outdoor classes too such as Tyler State Park. If you are interested check out www.babybootcamp.com. They also do mommie and family friendly events. In August there will be a day trip to Sesame Place.

This is a group for Philly mamas, but there are several of us in the far Northeast and in Bucks County.
