Looking for Young Teen B-day Ideas

Boys love caricatures! I am a caricature artist and I often draw for birthday parties. I provide a sheet of ideas for the drawings including "ride a dragon, fight an allagator, be a devil, ride a tiger, soccer, baseball, skateboard," and so on. Boys absolutely love topping each other as they decide how to bee drawn. Caricatures are fun, and they get to take them home to keep.

My son is turning 13 on Friday. We are doing a delayed party at a local Wehrenberg theater, seeing something PG-13, like Balls Of Fury. They have okay packages, with matinee prices of 11.50 per kid that includes admission, popcorn and a drink. We will also rent out their party room for an hour (for an additional 20.00) to serve cake and hold the gifts until I can move them to the car.

I know this is not out of your home but check out the Incredible Pizza Co. on S. Lindbergh where the old Target used to be. It's a blast, especially for that age.

I would look into some places that have go karts. Tee-Time in South County has birthday packages that include mini golf and at least 1 extra activity like go karts or batting cages. Also, I know it is kind of far, but there is the Nascar Speedpark at St. Louis Mills. They have birthday parties too. The movie theaters have parties. Most of the bowling alleys have parties too. Concord Lanes has a great package.
