Hi there K.! I have also tried the survey's...I did not pay out of pocket to try it but still found out it was basically useless. There have been several of us on here posting the same question as you and no one has been able to forward any good responses to me yet. I hope you have better luck, maybe someone new will see your's. I have hung onto the emails of other mom's that have had this question and when I find something I promise to pass it on. I am new to McKinney, with childcare (preschool teacher and preschool director) and sales experience also! I am now a stay at home mom with a daughter who will be 3 in January.
Where in McKinney do you live? As far as work from home jobs I have never heard of any that aren't a rip off! I have had very few lucky friends with semi-at home jobs and they are usually some type of sales or commission only job, where you still have to get out there and they usually aren't completely "at-home" only jobs.
I do know that I am always looking for a good babysitter close-by, even for just short periods of time and have several friends with kids that are always looking for babysitters. I think a great thing to start up would be a quality babysitting service. Would you be able to babysit outside of your home at all? I know that some people would need that as they would be out later than their child's bedtime and would want them to still be able to go to sleep on time. ( I am one of those people.) I have a friend that offers to keep my daughter but I like her kept at home so she is not up until midnight or whatever.
