Children's Theatre does great Theatre Arts classes for kids, and at this age, they are not competitive at all. You should check it out; classes will probably fill up soon.
My 7 year-old daughter attended a Theater Camp at the Eagan High School this summer and really enjoyed it. I would like to find something like this for her during the school year. Is anyone familiar with "In the Company of Kids" in Burnsville? Other options in either the Eagan (Dad's house) or South Minneapolis (Mom's place) areas? I'm looking for not too expensive and not too intense/competitive options that include singing/dancing/acting. Thanks!

Stepping Stone Theatre - I've worked with them in my clasroom (ages 3 - 14) and seen productions with them when former students (now in h.s.) have performed. They are unbelievably wonderful
I've heard really good things with Stages Theatre in Hopkins. Sorry, it's not south of the river.
