I live in Aurora also, but I only have a one year old, who would probably be too young for your child. I would like to recommend that you join the local stay at home moms meetup group, though. I'm in it, and I find it really useful. There are meetups every week, usually multiple ones in each week to go on. They include playdates in members' homes, meetings at the zoo or children's museum, anything that the members suggest! Go to sahm.meetup.com/124/ to sign up for the private group. I have heard that there are also cool events on coloradomoms.com
