Looking for Preschool in Fort Worth

I was looking at Preschools in the area today and I realized that a lot of them have waiting list. Being that my daughter is 2 1/2 and I'm pregnant and due beginning of February I would like to start my daughter in preschool for a couple of days each week sometime this fall. I know that daycare centers these days have curriculum coordinators and operate as a preschool. I would like to find one that is only a school if that even exists anymore. I think most of them are in churches. I was wondering if some of you moms with older kiddos in "school" could give me some insight on the research you have done and where you placed your kids. Also if you know any preschools with bilingual programs that would be even better. Thanks!

What can I do next?

You may want to try the Fort Worth Montessori School off of Dan Dancinger Road. Most places are full by the end of March. I would call around and ask if people have openings.

Kinderplatz of Fine Arts, it's pricey & there is a wait list, but it is well worth the money and if you are only looking for 2 days a week, there are more chances for that than full week/day. My kids have learned so much. When my oldest was 2-3yrs, they learned about the life cycle of a butterfly and enacted a play about how they go from the cocoon to the monarch butterfly! It was amazing.

If you haven't found one already then chances are unlikely. I tried and tried to find one that wasnt a daycare or a church and all I came up with was the Clayton foundation. And it was $70 a week.

I myself went the homeschool way for Pre-k cause of this.
