I am searching for some kind of playgroup for my son. I am a stay at home mom and sort of new to area.. My son is always bored and loves to see other children. Just something to get him out of the house will be fine.. If any one has any suggestions.. I am very open and flexible as far as meetings and times..I do live in the orange park area, near argyle
I just moved here in July. I am also liiking for friends for myself and my son. Maybe we could get together for lunch sometime. I know of another lady named Erika M who is looking to meet up. She has an 8 month old. I am a stay at home mom as well.

There's a great Yahoo group here called Orange Park Playgroup. The moms and kids are so helpful and nice. They really made me and my kids feel welcome when we moved to the area, and we've all made some wonderful friendships there. Here's the link: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/orangeparkplaygroup/?yguid=...

There is a new group called Clay County Play Group that just has infants from 5 to 12 months of age. It is a small group and they meet a few times a week. They have playdates in and out doors. Mostly they are in a private setting with a lot of toys for the little ones to play with.
I just goined a wonderful playgroup that meets every day (you can choose to go or not) and the only dues is to show up!
____@____.com if you would like more information. I live on Wells Road. :)

Hi K.. My daughter is now ten months and we joined a local playgroup here called Jax-Park. It has been wonderful. You have a meet and greet at first at a park or the mall play area and then once you are verified as a Mommy, you are allowed full access to the website. Every day of the week there is something going on. And there are things for all age groups and then specifics for infants, toddlers, preschoolers. Activities are all over town, so you can stay in your area or venture out, which is what my daugher and I do. We joined when she was almost five months and it has been a wonderful experience. They have activities at the childrens museum, the Zoo, field trips (just went to the Tiny Tots Symphony) and much more. You should check it out. It is nice to get out of the house and meet other Mom's and great for your little one too. Hope that helps. Good luck! -S. The website is: http://www.jaxparkplaygroup.com/

I also just moved here myself in February, my youngest is 4. I have a great mom's group where I live. Do they have anything where you live? Also, go to www.jax4kids.org and they have all kinds of stuff listed for kids. If not maybe we can start one, and invite the other mom's that are new here. I would love to meet other women in the area.
