The Liberty Clinic (near Sears Grand) has several fabulous doctors and pediatricians. My 7-month-old son goes to Dr. Kennedy and we LOVE him! The phone number for the Liberty Clinic is ###-###-####. Give them a call!

I know of a really good pediatrician in Liberty. I have been -taking my 3 year old to him since she was born at Liberty Hospital. I have a family member that works at the hospital and she said he has a very good reputation there. His name is John Hertenstein, M.D., F.A.A.P. His practice is called Health Care For Children at ###-###-####. His office is located in a new office building behind Corner Cafe on Flintlock. We have also seen another Doctor there and was happy with him to. His name is Paul Lively, D.O., F.A.A.P. I hope this helps you out.

M.,
I am from Smithville, and I take my two kids to see Dr. Kim Kixsmiller Smith. She is not a pediatrician but a MD, and a mother of 4. She is really good about spending time with you and your family and answering all of your questions. I also like her because she has "been there done that" with her kids. She is located at St. Lukes Northland on Barry Road. That would only be about a 15 min. drive for you. That's about how long it takes us to get there. Her phone number is ###-###-####. Her nurses name is Amy. I hope this helps you. Otherwise if you insist on seeing a pediatrician I know there is a group of them in front of the hospital in their own building. Unfortunately I don't know their names, but Kim's office would. I just like going to a regular doctor, that way my kids aren't exposed to so many sick kids at regular visits.

M., I've heard of all the doctors mentioned and been to Kennedy, and Kixmiller-Smith. Our son currently goes to Kennedy and while he is ok, we don't love him, we are getting ready to switch to the Pediatric Care North, I hear terrific things about it, (plus it's right up the street from us). Kennedy rents space with about 15 other doctors and it's like a zoo in there, we just didn't like it. I know several people that are switching to the Pediatric Care because of the great doctors and service. Good Luck! Jenn

Try Dr. Lively. My grandson has been going to them since birth (almost 5 years). They are a husband and wife along with Dr. Hertenstein. GREAT pediatricians. Very caring. I don't have their exact address but they're right off Kansas Ave (opposite of Westowne and Seaport). If you can't locate them in the phone book, call Liberty Hospital.
