Check on Dr. Steven Peskind in Plano - he is right across the street from Medical Center of Plano. He's taken care of my son who's almost 2. He and his staff are wonderful.

My 6yr old son was recently diagnoised with asthma and allergies after 3 yrs of constant sinus infections and chronic cough. I was recommended to Dr. John Van Wagoner at the Southwest Allergy and Asthma Center where he specializes in pediatric allergies and asthma. My son has only been there a couple of times but I've already seen some improvement and Dr. Van Wagoner is determined to find the source of the cause of your child's problems. He is very thorough and my son feels comfortable with him. "D" magazine also rated him #1 if that helps. I live in McKinney and I am willing make the drive to his office over by Presby. Hospital. I feel that he is worth it. He also has an office in Frisco but I have not been to that one yet. His office staff is friendly and very helpful, it isn't hard to reach anyone with questions and they usually get back right away. You can check them out at www.southwestallergy.com

Dr Ruff in Dallas is good. He use to be located near Presby off of Walnut Hill- I am unsure if he is still in the same location, but I definately recommend him.

Dr. Mac's Pediatrics and Allergy is pretty good in Coppell -- not sure how convenient that is -- he may have another office.

I am a respiratory therapist at Children's Medical center of Dallas and our pulmonoligists there are great! I believe they are in Dallas and have an office in Frisco, too. Dr. Andrew Gelfand and Steve Copenhaver. It may take a little while to get an appointment, but they are wonderful doctors.

If u r open to other options..u cud try alternative medicine too..as it doesn't have any side effects and is safe..though it is slow..
