I'll add another recommendation for Dr. JP Roberts. I've been seeing him since 1997, and I've had uniformly positive experiences with him and his staff. He delivered my first at Plano Presby nearly three years ago, and he's about to deliver my 2nd any day (I'm due Friday). I'll echo the others... his bedside manner is reserved, but if you don't mind that, he's knowledgeable, kind, and quietly compassionate. His nursing staff is warm and friendly.
My experience delivering at Plano Presby was great, as well (though it was three years ago). However, I was hospitalized overnight in labor and delivery last month with a flu-like bug and dehydration, and that was as positive an experience as it could have been.
One bit of advice on the recovery rooms... they are switching from the old recovery rooms to a bed tower at that hospital right now, however, I think that this still applies. If your recovery room is near a support beam, all your husband will have to sleep on is a little fold-out armchair. In the rooms without a support beam, there is a bigger, more comfortable couch/bed set up. We didn't realize this for our first delivery, and we had the fold-out armchair, so my husband wasn't very comfortable. We know better this time and will request the couch/bed set up if it is available.
