Hi moms!
My kindergartener has been wanting to take gymnastics for a while. I've looked into local rec centers-but she'll be 6 in a couple of weeks and the classes only go to age 5. I've also looked at ASI gymnastics, but I'd rather not spend $70 a month for 4 lessons.
Does anyone know of a small gym nearby that offers beginner tumbling/gymnastics at a low rate?
Thanks all!

Hi S.,
I have just opened a new gym in Lake Worth. These are for our grand opening only and available now thru Feb 15. We are a USAG club and have a character building curriculum included in our gymnastics, karate, cheerleading, dance, and sports skills classes. We have lots of nice equipment,6 inflatable and have a climbing wall coming.I am USAG certified and have coached for 25 years. The kids get quality instruction at an afordable cost of $10.00 per week.Go to junglegymsports.com
Hi S.,
We're members at Texas Tumblers just off 377 and Watauga Rd/Western Center. They offer tumbling classes from little bitty, to way on up experienced. My daughter is on their competitive cheerleading teams and we've been there for 2 1/2 years. We absolutely love the owners and all of the coaches. They are amazing people with a true dedication to the sports of tumbling, gymnastics and all star cheer. Sal and Traci Piersanti are the owners. Go to www.txtumblers.com for more info. We've tried other gyms and know the owners of other gyms and won't go anywhere else and I'm driving out there 3-4 times a week from Aledo for her to practice!
Good luck!
we go to the sokol gym in saginaw. we really like it and it is affordable. But it would be a bit of a drive for you. They have a website if you google sokol fort worth
flips for fun in keller. theyre great.
NRH Recreation offers classes for 6 and up. Try http://www.nrhtx.com/pdf/discover_brochure_new.pdf and see page 20.
Don't go to ASI anyways. I had my daughter there and it is horrible. Staff is rude and unprofessional. The place is dirty and it is over priced. I go to Crusader now..MUCH BETTER!!!
We've been happy with Lil' Gymnasts program through/at the Roanoke Rec Center and you do not have to be a resident to attend.
We use Sunbelt Gymnastics in Colleyville. It will cost 62.00 a month for one lesson a week. There is also Gymnastics Plus in Grapevine at about the same price. Some friends have enrolled their children at the Grapevine Rec. Cntr. for tumbling classes which I am unsure of the cost.
My son has started going to Snow's Gymnastics in Keller. It's on Pearson just south of 1709. He has only had a couple classes, but so far, he loves it. My son is only 4, but they have older classes as well. You can even try a free class to see if you like it. If you decide to sign up, you pay for the class, but if you decide not to, it's free.
Here is a gym that our mommy & me group meets at once or twice a week. Good luck!
