We love The Carousel School on Brewster Rd (off Trapello) near 128, all 3 of our kids went there and if we had more, we'd send them as well. their phone # is ###-###-####. I think they are very reasonable price wise compared to what some of our friends are paying.
I live in Waltham, but sent my kids to Storyville Preschool in Watertown. It's near Watertown Center. I loved their flexibility with part-time schedules. My twin daughters went 3 days a week, and not full days, either. It was very affordable. They were also accommodating of any schedule changes I needed to make. Most of the staff have been there for many years, which says something about the work environment. And, they're open year around, so you don't need to find separate day camp for the summer, if you don't want to! Here's the website: www.storyvillepreschool.com. Tell "Miss Pam" I said "Hi!".
I sent my son (now 7 and in 2nd grade)to Little Souls currently on 5th Ave behind the Westin. He loved it! They have part-time schedules and back when he was there the rates were quite reasonable and they were really accomodating(VERY accomodating w/the potty training thing). They are also open during the summer.
Good luck
