Looking for Good Pediatrician in or Around Lakeville or Apple Valley

I second the Dr. Mitha recommendation. I selected Southdale Peds as our clinic and went through 2 other doctors before seeing her by chance. She is amazing. Everytime we see her, she acts like there is no other child she would rather see than Chase. Also, Dr. Nicholson (same group) is a wonderful lady.

Both women never rush you through an appointment, give you all the time you need, never make you feel like your questions are ridiculous, and make sure you understand everything before you leave. Also, both have called our home after hours just to check in and make sure Chase is okay after seeing him in the office when he's sick.

Can't rave enough - they are wonderful.

I actually go to Eagan and it is mostly a nurse practioner office but they have been wonderful. It looks like there are some other places listed here and if your interested I can give you the name.

I have taken my daughter to Dr.Devries a wonderful female pediatrician at Park Nicollet Clinic in Burnsville across from the hospital. I have NO complaints. She is AWESOME if she can't figure something out she is persistant on getting a answer or finding the answer. She's very thourough and personable. My daughter was a preemie and she had to go to the doctors once a week or a few times a month for almost a year so we were there alot. I've never waited in the waiting room past my appointment time either. ###-###-####

Dakota Pediatric in Apple Valley. They are moving to Lakeville near Cub in the spring. They are a small practice and spend as much time as you need when you are there. Dr. Mary Wild-Crea is a great resources. It is the kind of clinic where they remember you by name when you come in. Dr. Mary remembers almost everthing we tell her about our family. When our daughter was sick at Children's Hospital she came everyday even when she was being overseen by the PICU doctors. I hightly recommend her. We found her because our OB/GYN used her as a pediatrician when she living in Apple Valley. The number is ###-###-####. They are located near Wal-Mart on Pennock.

We have been going to Dakota Pediatrics for the past 4 years. I wouldn't go anywhere else - Dr. Mary Wild Crea has really done a great job with all of our children and takes the time to know us. I would highly suggest that practice.

I just switched from a family practice (Quello) to Southdale Pediatrics in July, and have been AMAZED by how thorough the doctor's are! They are amazing! They seem to really care more than any other dr I have ever seen, and give you time to answer questions. They are always on time, and easy to get in to, and my 2 1/2 yr old son LOVES the waiting room! We usually leave with him screaming because he wants to stay and play. They have a huge fish tank with fish and turtles, a play area, and books, and he always stays entertained. I would reccomend them to anyone!
