I recommend that you call Daycare ____@____.com will obtain your particular needs then provide you will a list of providers that meet those needs. Most providers are small business run in house. Mine is "Less than professional", but reasonable at $140/wk.

Hi L.. My name is Stephanie. I live in overlandpark area. I watch children in my home. I have a two year old son. I don't know if this is to far from your job. I have taken my son to daycares on mo and ks. He was a preemie 8 weeks early. He was born in october , so I could not take him out or around people because of the rsv virus. He has been to daycares but usually within 3- 5 days he gets sick, sometimes for 2 weeks. so he stays home.cremedacreme is very nice and very exspensive. This is the only place I would send him if he did not get sick. I hate the fact that all of the other daycares that we have tried and I have worked in cannot devote time and attention to a child.Definitely do walk thrus now at any daycare you are interested.Do they know cpr? Is it a clean facility.I went to all around child for a half day. They got bugs! When I went to pick him up they did not have a report of what he did or ate.Cremedacreme was only place that did, and he did not want to leave. This is one sign of good daycare. Have checked out kindercares, lapetite, , childrens world, I'm not impressed with any.If you are interested in my daycare, please email me. thanks stephanie

I don't know what area you live in, but if you are looking for daycare, a really great resource is the Family Conservancy. You can go to www.thefamilyconservancy.org

It is a website that has a phone number you can talk to someone and they will compile a list of In home and daycare centers in the area you live or are looking.

I just recently used it to find the daycare i will be sending my 9 month old. It was very helpful to me.

You can try the following website.
http://www.childcaresource.org/providers_search.aspx

It is the link to Child Care Source. You put in your geographical information and some other information then it will give you a list of some providers in your area. For individuals listed, it only gives first names and phone numbers so you have to call to inquire. Some of them may have referrals as they have their own little network.
