Help!! My cutie needs a haircut badly... I want to find a stylist that has all the patience in the world to cut my baby's hair because he is a mover and a shaker. My stylist gives him a great haircut but he makes her SUPER nervous which in turn makes me nervous. Does anyone know of a place I can take him??? Thanks everyone!
Soooooooo my husband took Jakob to Cool Cuts for kids AND it was a success! My chunky monkey looks SUPER handsome! He was still a little fidgety during the cut (so my husband says) but he really loved the place and said that even though its a bit out of our way it was worth the drive. I grilled him for more details about the place but you know how men are, lol. We'll definitely go back again. I go to Felix @ Hair We Are on Forest Lakes in Oldsmar. I have been going to him for 4 years...my friends takes her son there, he is 8...he does a great job and he is quick!
I take my son (19 months) to Cool Cuts 4 Kids on Bruce B Downs. We love it there! They let the kids pick what movie they want to watch while they get there hair cut and their chairs are shaped like cars. They also have a play area to keep the kiddos entertained while waiting for the stylist. Price isn't too bad either, about $15.
I used to take my son (who turned 2 today) to Cool Cuts for Kids on BBDowns. The novelty of sitting in a fire truck or taxi only lasted for about 2 visits. Then I had him sit on my lap and he would still scream. So, I found out the woman who did his first haircut at Cool Cuts moved to Ultra Clips on SR54 in the same plaza as Gymboree. Her name is Rhonda and she is awesome. He actually had his 3rd haircut with her yesterday and as usual, he did fabulous. Not even a slight whimper. He sits on my lap and she plays a movie on the TV in front of us. She talks to him the whole time during the haircut. The haircut only costs $10.95. The telephone # there is ###-###-####. The place at International Mall sounds neat, but it is quite a drive and besides, my son would never sit in one of those trucks again:). Good luck!
Try Short Cuts for Kids in International Plaza. The kids sit in airplanes, trucks, etc. And they have movies playing and offer lollipops and balloons. My three year old son has had positive experiences there and his hair comes out so cute. Good luck!

we go to shortcuts in the international mall frist floor around the corner from dillards . they are great their. all their seats are cars or plans they choose where they want to sit. their are flat screen t.vs at every station that plays the same movie. every body is very nice. most of the kids places are more for girls but this one is less girly wee love it!
We goto Shortcuts at international mall too. The people that work there are great and my son loves sitting in the plane and watching a movie while he gets his hair cut. We tried several places before that and this is by far the best we've found. Good luck!
I highly recommend Felix's Hair We Are in Oldsmar. He does my hair as well as my three children. One of my children has sensory issues and can not stand to have anyone touch his hair. I've been to so many salons over the years and since I found Felix four years ago, I'll never go anywhere else.
