I have a 26 month old son who is extremely active. He goes to daycare during the year, but he is off for the summer, as am I (teacher). We do things on a daily basis, most free. Here are some fun things we do: Children's Museum Tot Spot (5 per person, just say your daughter is under 2 ;<)--then it will only be 10.00 but bring your own food, the food there is not that great), Memorial City Mall Play area--it opens at 10 but you can get in at 9, just jump over the rope gate; Noah's Ark Pool located at First United Methodist Church (Tollway/Westpark--westside) that too would be $10, just say your daughter is under 2; almost all houston libraries have toddler story time and play groups at 10ish; Barnes and Nobles have story times too; McDonalds play areas, give a snack at home before you go and just buy an ice cream or a drink for yourself (much cheaper than going for B/L/or D; there is also 4 in 1 park (one has a covered roof for rainy days) located off of Kimberly Ln and the west sam houston tollway, it is in the town and country area (nice); um, I guess that's about it. It depends if it is raining or nice out and that determines what we do, today we went to Noah's Ark, then it rained so we went to Mcdonalds, then after we went to the park because it was nice out, needless to say I think I am more tired than he is!!! (of course he napped in between)anyway, if you need more specifics on any of this, let me know!!!
