Looking for an Inside Pool

Hi

I'm trying to find an indoor pool that I can take my little girl too. She adores swimming. Where we lived before there was an indoor pool with kiddie slides and such.

Does anyone know of an indoor pool here in the Rocklin/Roseville area? Even if it doesn't have a play center? Or a little bit of a drive?

Thanks :)

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

I now know of two in the Roseville area. The Mike Shellito Indoor Pool by the Nugget Market on Pleasant Grove. Also, Roseville Aquatic Center. They don't have everything we were use to in Wisconsin but they serve our purpose quite well. :)

I do not believe there is one near us out here, but there is one out in Rancho Cordova. It's called Paradise Cove. It's a bit of a drive though

Hope that helps :)

Hi A.-

Around here Sea Otter swim school is all I know of that's close to being indoors, but I don't think they have open swim. Cal Fit on Foothills is outdoors. I grew up in Sac and as kids we used to go to the YMCA downtown for open swim, it seemed old then but we didn't care. I'd love to find one too, with all the crowds at Bounce U during the week I'm sure it would be a hit!

There is a place in Loomis (which is right next to Rocklin) called Sea Otter Swim...it's an indoor tent which is unbelievable warm (you wouldn't think so but it is). I took my kids to a party there and it was actually a little hot. Good luck.

You know, unfortunately because it's so hot out here in the summer, most pools are outdoors and are primarily heated by the sun. Your best luck would be to look for a gym that has an indoor pool. There's a chance that the California Family Fitness on Foothills Blvd's pool is indoor, but I'm not positive. I currently take my daughter for swim lessons at Starfish swim school which has a tent like cover and a very warm pool. They are for instruction only though, no open swim. There is also the Sea Otter swim school that has a similar like cover and pool temp. for year round swimming, and they may have an open swim time. There are a few other schools too, I would do a search for toddler swim in placer/sac. county. All the community pools offer classes and usually start in early June- Roseville Community, Rocklin Recreation are 2 that are close to you. They may be open now, but BBBRRR!
