I am looking for a weekend playgroup as I work M-F. My daughter is 5 months old and would just like to meet other moms. I live in Lutz but am willing to travel (within reason).
There is a weekend playgroup for working moms called Working moms at meetup.com. The organizer is Octavia. She is a great person. Just wanted to share that with you I had seen your looking for a play group and wanted to tell you.

I'm a member of a fabulous playgroup. We are mostly working moms, so we tend to meet on evenings and weekends. Here's the link if you want to check it out.
It's really a great group of ladies. We are spread out over the tampa bay area. We have moms in Pinellas, Hillsborough, and Pasco counties.

There is a Moms on the Go group that is pretty fantastic. There is an affiliate group, Sweet peas, I think that focuses more on the age of your daughter. I don't know how much happens on the weekends, but its worth looking into. Hope this helps.

I also work part time (T & Th) and have been on the lookout for a playgroup. I live in Odessa,am 41 , 1st time mom to a 4 month old boy.We have a dobe/lab mix that is about 10yr. I'd be intersted to see what kind of responses you get from already formed groups, or other moms interseted in starting a group.
