Hello I currently live in Mesa and Gilbert area. I am looking for a preschool for my daughter but I do not want a daycare/preschool. I have tried it and she did not like it. She is 4 years old, I am also considering putting her in Kindergarten and have her tested in. She is pretty advanced but not sure full time will be good either. Looking for a party time Kinder place.

Any information will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Hi, I am in the same boat for my 3 year old son and we are going today to sign him up for Bridges preschool in Tempe. They have several locations in the east valley. We have only toured the Tempe location, but what impressed me was:
*it has an actual preschool focus - it is not just a glorified daycare
*they have part time and full time options as well as varying day schedules. We are starting with MWF. You can also do TTH or 5 days.
*the actual program and teachers seem great. They even learn a few words of Spanish a week!
*the facilities and building are VERY nice
*the children seemed very happy!

Now, he hasn't actually started so I can't give you a full review, but I am excited and hope it works out well. You should def check them out.

I highly recommend Greenhouse Montessori. Here is the website: http://www.greenhousemontessorischool.com. Both my kids went there and LOVED it. They learned a lot and had fun doing so. It was the perfect foundation for their education.

For two years my daughter went to the Preschool at Red Mountain United Methodist Church (Power and McDowell right off the 202). We happen to go to church there as well but their classes are wonderful! Most of the classes are 2, 3 or 5 days from 9-noon however they also have an Early Learners class that's 5 days and goes until 1:30. The kids eat lunch and it's more of a prep for Kindergarten. They do include light spiritual exposure but not overkill. They do two performances, one around Christmas and then one in May. We loved it so much and will miss it greatly next year. You can check them out at: http://redmtumcpreschool.org/ The prices are very reasonable and they also have some scholarship programs to help families if needed. Message me if you'd like more info! Good luck.

A friend of mine runs Desert Shadows Montessori - https://dsmontessori.com/ It's wonderful and I'd send my kids if it weren't so far away. I notice they don't have their rates on their website, but I know they are quite reasonable.
