Hello, I am looking for a pediatrician either in the Highlands/ Inman Park area or the East Point/ College Park area. We currently live in Cabbagetown and are moving to Camp Creek Pkwy. Our first baby is due September 4, 2008 and I'm just trying to get a few good referrals so that I can start interviewing doctors. Thanks in advance!

What can I do next?

We love Dr. Denita Sells at Intown Pediatrics on Boulevard (by the CVS) in Grant Park. I switched to her after hearing rave reviews, and she's been great for my 2 year old son. She has tons of experience with kids from many different backgrounds and is very personable.

Have you consider asking your doctor about any peditrians in the area that you are looking in

Call Dr. Sells at Intown Pediatrics on Boulevard next to the CVS across from Grant Park, her number is ###-###-####. She has been our pediatrician for 15 months and is great! I've called with a concern on a Saturday and received a call from her within 15 minutes, she is thorough and does not make you feel stupid for having those typical first time parent questions. They use laptops during the appointments and show you the growth chart and weight chart on the fly as well as print it out and give you good info to take home. I believe they also have a breastfeeding support group, if you are looking for that as well. Almost everyone in our playgroup uses her and are extremely happy. Also, not that you asked she does accept almost all insurance plans.

Congratulations on your soon to be larger family!
